Long awaited video but we finished the mini trike build we started a few months back. We had a couple hiccups along the way but managed to get through them. Almost missed a deadline but pulled it out at the last minute.
Gotta love that moment with your kid seeing him all stoked

The trike looks great, and quick. Being a motorcycle rider I would opt for a helmet. I agree grass will grow back!✌🏻

I was wondering how you were doing with the little trike. You engineer the hell out of it ! When I was your boys age you wouldn’t be able to get me off it ! But after 76 years and surviving some pretty bad motorcycle accidents all I kept thinking was put a helmet on that boy’s head , bones heal , heads not so much , speaking from experience. Having said that have a blast on that little monster !

If you could have a Navitas controller with the OTF setup, that would be awesome! Then younger kids could learn on it and grow into it more.

What does something like that cost having to purchase everything? Neighbors can't complain about a noisy minibike engine!
About 400 for the battery 400 for the motor and controller and 800 for the frame

man you had to put one of electro and cos bigger motors on there and it would have hit 70mph+

Where did you get your Trike frame from? Me and my son have been talking about making one of those for years to take to Ocean Lakes campground because they will only let us bring electric.

What kind of run time are you getting out of that battery?
It’s only died once on the trike, he was riding for like 5 hours in a gated campground at the beach that’s huge. I would say 25 - 30 miles.
