Volvo 240 front end collision repair

This was the repairing of some front end collision damage done on a 1984 Volvo 245. The radiator core support had to be removed and replaced with new metal, headlight buckets and sealed beams also had to be replaced as well as the grille and trim, other replaced components were the turn signal lenses, fan shroud, ac condenser and hood latch parts

Good video, especially because it shows the fatal flaw in most people's reasoning; it looks bad so the repair will be difficult and expensive.
The true answer is sometimes, but not always.

Very true, it’s not particularly difficult but it is tedious and the last 5% of adjustments to get it close to before will take the most time

Man.....well done. Not too many cars can get back to normal with junk yard parts, and appear never to have had anything take place....still smiling a the job done........

My flaxen yellow 88 240 wagon wrecked years ago, at the time I didn’t know it wasn’t impossible to fix it, now it’s gone and I miss it. However I am looking into a brown on brown 86 240 wagon and I hope it goes well. Good video👌

Yes the front end repairs are very simple but time consuming, you may have still made the right decision to junk it, good luck with the new purchase!

What was the process of getting the air conditioning hoses off and through the core support?

You do have to disconnect them where they come through the core, discharging any refrigerant in the ac

What. are the names of two front metals you painted and installed. The lower from metal sheet and upper metal sheet. Part numbers.
