Must be a coincidence, been eyeing this for the past 3 days since apparently I have nothing better to do while at home and decided to buy one this past Friday while it was on sale for $41. When I’ll ever be able to use it remains a mystery. Maybe to walk up and down the street with the kids.
That front pocket is a really nice touch. I already have the xiaomi mi sling, so don't need this, but this bag is way cooler and useful. It's way more expensive too tho.
I can't decide between them, which one do you recommend for a hike (4 hrs)? I am interested in the lightweight version but not sure if the shoulder strap is comfortable(padded) enough.
@@daysirc the shoulder strap is plenty comfortable, the phone pocket really make a difference though. I can't get it into the regular Atom, but that might not be your case. Also, if you use the accessory lash straps then get the regular Atom, great place to hook on some have sanitizer or a jacket. It's a much more structured look too, but both guy my 1L water bottle just fine.
I have a Patagonia Sling bag and used it a lot. bought it from Rushfaster...it had a strap that went from the back to the front to keep the bag in place and it fell off and I lost it.....went to the Patagonia shop in the city to buy a new one ...the staff member told me that be new what I was talking about and had a few people inquire about it unfortunately he had none in stock in the shop. The staff member advised me to contact their head office in the Melbourne ...So I did gave them the model number etc ...they sent me a strap not from that model so it was useless...anyway I still have the bag and use it now and then ...apart from the sling bag is a great bag
Hey Ed, been watching your videos for a while now. I commented a while back that the audio had some echo but I'm happy to hear that this video sounds a lot better. More enjoyable to watch! Also, the same, great video and content quality as always. Keep up the great work!
I really want to love this bag but the weirdly wide shoulder strap makes it so uncomfortable. The Osprey daypack lite is a much better option. (I own both)
Hello. The Atom Sling is designed to be a minimalist bag that is compact and efficient to carry essentials without the bulk of a larger backpack. Thanks for the input. We'll forward this to Patagonia for future design improvements. Cheers!
Such a nice bag - look forward to walking around my house with it.
Marc Knotts that’s knott a bad idea
Hahahaha!
Lol. This was actually funny
😂
Its 2024, COVID is over, we are allowed Out, and this comment is still funny! Hahahah
That is a nice living room! Great ambience!
Thanks man! :)

You bet! Thanks for watching. Have a great one! Cheers

Dope vid man!🙌
I have 2 (it's an issue) and love them, but the lightweight version is actually set up a little better. The pocket on the harness fits a phone better.

We've been working on the sound! Glad you're enjoying the videos more now!
You guys should check out the Patagonia cragsmith 32! Billed as a climbing pack but honestly I think it could be a sleeper one bag travel hit
Yeah a friend on mine has one! Absolute beast of a bag! :)

Very good review. Thank you!
You're welcome!

Hi Ed! Could you please review the Stuart & Lao Briefcase? I think you'll like it!
Yeah we've seen those bags - really interesting. We might look into it if there's a big enough demand! :)

I wonder what the biggest notebook that could fit in the iPad compartment would be.
love the content!
Thank you so much!
Hey Ed, do you think an iPad 11 inch would fit inside?
Sounds risky, have you seen the bend tests? 😅
OnlyArion I have the iPad and never had a problem!
I have an 11” iPad Pro and it fits like a glove. I carry it with me all the time and no issues whatsoever.
Are you going to do the Bellroy Apex backpack?
Stay tuned! ;)
Can I use the pocket for my maps n travel guide?
An ipad pro 12.9 would fit inside ?
I want this sling so bad but it looks like they only make left handed versions that hang off your right shoulder.
I would love if it was in black or a neutral color 🥲
Can a iPad Pro 12.9 fit in the bag? I know the 11 inch can. And if it does is there extra room for other things?
Nice review.
Thank you! Cheers!
Does it fit a ipad pro 11“?
is there an option to attach anything on the bottom via straps?
Can I put a 10” laptop or iPad mini ?
Hello! Will a 40 oz hydro flask fit in it?
Did you buy it? I’m currently looking at it for the same reason. 😂
A 64oz hydro fits there’s a video on here about it:)

Hi there! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with us. It's great to hear that the Osprey daypack lite worked so well for you
can it fit a big headphone ?
is it worth $59.99 u.s.d?
i was hoping with 2 straps not 1 ?
Have you tried fitting a water bladder in this bag?
Nah haven't tried but I assume it wont fit - unless its a super small one! - Ed
I can’t seem to find it in that color 😭
It's probably an old seasonal colour. - Daniel
Very expensive. Not enough compartments😔

Pistol, mags, first aid, multitool, flashlight 🤙🏼
My thoughts exactly!
