I been working with tru green for almost 5 months and I do lawn care and the job is really easy. You work alone, my managers are not ass holes. Now if it’s hot, then that’s when it can be hard especially if u don’t have AC but my branch just offered me a brand new 2022 truck. And I also work in a premier suburb of Michigan so I literally ride around 1million dollar homes but huge lawns. And we are in the tru detail program where all I do I spot spray for weeds so it’s super easy rite now
you right got put in work to get paid.. people must not like time n half pay.. were im from starting its $21 hr , 31.50 after 40hrs. 10 12hr days getting payed!. and off in all winter ..

Worked at Trugreen for 3.5 years. I did lawn and mosquitoes. Liked it at first routes were about 180k sqft, but our branch got really understaffed we got overworked. Started giving out routes that were 250k sqft. Not to mention sales would under sell square footage so you'd get to a property measured at 10,000 sqft and it would turn out to be 30,000 sqft. For those of you that dont know TG does their routes based on sqft so if you have 5 or so stops that are undersold that will lengthen your day by hours and good luck getting you route done. Management won't sympathize either. Started hating the place. I quit last year and went into the trades and it was the best decision I've ever made.

But nowadays with the shortages we continue to see of qualified blue collar workers who can will and want to truly work hard for what they love and for a better life is eroding this once great nation making us as a whole by the men and woman we produce that continue to be weaker and weaker, and naive to the true struggle that life is and should be, as nothing in life that's ever really worth anything or loved should never be easy and therfore less valued and appreciated. GOD BLESS all and I know that our youth has what it takes to be great if not greater than those before if we can only just start to be honest with them and provide them with and prepare them for the pressure that truly come with real life resulting in the diamonds of true potential they all can and should be.

Ms. K don’t do it. Look somewhere else. If you’re not being overworked working 6 days a week 12 hour days and have a family it’s miserable. The chemicals they use can get you real sick if your not careful. At first they’ll give you 30 or 40 houses but after a week of “experience “ they’ll give you 50 or 60 houses a day. Steer clear of this job you’ll thank yourself!

The job itself is really really easy you just if u dont mind walking alot. Im in training but i told my trainer let me do the work so i did 32 houses today ( walking yards spraying pre emergent. It only takes like 5-8 minutes an u back in the truck to the next stop ) i got 31 tomorrow. Its not bad at all to be honest. Also where im at women only do tree an shrubs so like u goin up to houses spraying trees an bushes then go to the next 1.. an we dont work 6 days we go monday thru Thursday right as of right now

You've got to remember that using your hatred towards the customers must be complete, before you can truly become a lawn tech. Once you spray your first dog your training is nearly complete.

@@rodgers731 I quit that shit after one day...it was for "lawn care specialist" ...(I later found out that the prejudice managers that run the branch, had changed the title of the position, many times, to hide past and present negative reviews). Broken equipment, extremely bad training (I was being trained by a guy that was there one month prior and HE wasn't fully trained at all in addition to having VERY poor communication ability) and the obvious prejudice attitude from management helped me bounce. I was about to cross up and jinx the warehouse supervisor AND the so called trainer/orientation host (Mr.john adkins) ...very shitty experience to say the least..shitty lol..

Fuccing hillbilly ass turning pink when the SEE brown, ass people 🤣🤣🤣..they definitely got those positions by being associated with the Masonic lodge or something, they're stupidity is unmatched.

I’m White and I worked at TruGreen for about 3 months applying fertilizer and pesticide. And I’ll tell you it’s not the weather that gets you, it’s the constant walking back and forth.
Yeah its easy when all you do is aeration and mosquito lol. Be a spray tech and you'll see how difficult it can get. I enjoy it either way but try working in the harder areas before saying its easy when youre in the simplest job they offer.
Sounds like you don't like working. You should do fertilizing and spraying 20,000sq ft. Lawns. You couldn't or wouldn't do it. Aeration and mosquito is easy. I've been with Trugreen for 8yrs. I know what the work is like.
