Hi. There is no one simple answer. It depends a lot on the leather, the size and the shape. Diagonal walls are much easier to mold than vertical walls. If you double the radius of the bowl, you also double the height of the wall obtained with the same effort. Or it will be twice as easy to mold a wall of the same height.
Very nice trays, seems simple enough. The circle cutter you are using seems like a must have tool.
