I actually think I hear far more people say FIFA 14 and 15 are their favourites with 16 a little bit behind them. 16 is probably my favourite though, it was the first time I ever did all 15 seasons of Career Mode. The end was pretty underwhelming but the Career Mode was great. I was playing this game fairly recently actually and did a Real Betis Career Mode and Fiorentina too. Both teams were very fun to use and develop.
To me, FIFA 16 felt the cleanest and sharpest from the ignite engine games. Refined from 14 and 15. The engine felt much better, players weren't skating and stuff. Yet it still had plenty of good animations and extras.
Yeah one thing I hate about 16 over 14 both unpatched as both best that way. Is in 16 the AI are wayyy too quick and twitchy with their leg movements and passes etc. It's main reason I prefer 14 it's more realistic, slower, everyone moves normal and inertia is very very good. I edit gameplay slightly with sliders to tone down passing speed and increase pass error and 1st touch error etc.
Felt like the PS4 FIFA games were a step back from the PS3 FIFA games. Can't remember what version it was, but the FIFA with Marco Reus on the cover was terrible. The holy trinity of "modern" FIFA for me was the run of games between 11-13.

I absolutely love the ignite engine era! I tend to replay these games quite frequently
There should be an option to change ball size, in the NHL series you can change the puck size from small, normal, large or authentic.

I found 16 to be pretty easy to mod so I don't have many complaints... still need to go back to it though.
Leicester winning the league was a breath of fresh air, still feels kinda surreal that it happened.
@@Mateus_Carvalho It wasn't a breath of fresh air for me, as a Spurs fan! How our team didn't win EPL here or season after is anyone's guess. Tragedy.
