Ferguson is correct that we are not all able to drive a long ways....distance, mountains and snow can make it impossible. A blessing is that I can find a good pastor online to supplement what I am missing from my local church.

Although this conference seems to be for (chiefly) Pastors/Elders and Deacons etc although I'm none of the above. I always find these conference sermons and Q & As so incredibly practical and helpful in my own life and walk with the Lord. Some real nuggets of wisdom here. I love the advice Steve Lawson gave on time management but every one of you contributed precious pearls of wisdom I need to apply. Thank you. 😊
Dr. Ferguson is such a beautiful person! He has a daily Ligonier podcast called “Things Unseen” that I listen to and would enthusiastically recommend! 😊

There is a famine of the word of God because our state churches have moved away from truth and actually disobey the Word of God here in the UK Both north and south of the border. Other denominations are not careful with the Word of God and some becoming liberal - I had to even leave a Baptist church - at one time a dependable denomination - but not always today. Still some ver good Baptist churches around though. In my area I have battled to find a reformed Church. Thankfully I have now found one but it consists of a tiny congregation because people prefer to have their ears tickled and be entertained in other churches.

The question got it right "Evangelicals and believers" they are not the same. Unity can only happen where there is truth. Truth divides.
