As much as we admire these vessels of the gospel, I can’t even imagine the amount of love and gratitude that we will have when we see the face of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I'm a fairly new convert to reformed theology. It all makes sense now. I was a neo evangelical at the beginning, but within the past 4 months I've been opened to these beliefs. All glory to God and Amen.
I have been studying reading the old testament and I see how truly holy God is and am so I really am grateful for Jesus Christ the son of God
It never fails..... R.C. Will always make us laugh no matter what conference he is at. I miss the man so much.
I can’t help but remember I went on a Bible study cruise and dr Sproul wound up having to carry the conference because dr James Kennedy died. I wish I had paid closer attention because everyone was expecting dr Kennedy having no idea his condition.

21 years have passed since this conference. I felt a little bad because Alistair wasn't asked as much as the others. But classic Begg in that he was content listening to his elder statesman. So glad you shared this with us. RIP RC Sproul! Great group of Pastors.
We listen to this and should be thankful the lord gave us such good teachers who are loyal to the lord Himself and the word only!
I thank God that we have pastors who preach the truth. So many are deceived by false teaching.😢

Just such a blessing to be able to listen to this group of men. I'm so thankful Alistair Begg mentioned the old hymns. Most written by those who knew great suffering. They are so full of wisdom. I use an old and much worn The Believers Hymn Book published by Pickering & Inglis London-Glasgow with my morning devotionals. No music in it just the hymns numbered and written plainly on the pages. Their words so honouring to the Trinity bring tears for the Heavenly vision they have captured.
These men are diamonds in this world. This world has become so crazy, and I listen to how God speaks through these dear men, and I know the pure message of the gospel will carry me through the madness. I feel at home when I listen to these men of God. This is the only truth I need in a world constantly hammering me on every side to believe the evil it calls truth.
I really enjoy listening to these men though I am here in the Philippines, where charismania is rampant, still, God is allowing me to learn a lot of sound theology from these men.
This group represents the most influential pastors of the 21st century
IM so filled with blessings from these annointed and humble men of God.
If there was such thing as a Christian “Oscar Award” (not for acting but rather for conveying sound Biblical doctrine!), John MacArthur would have quite a few Oscars...but truly, all of the men in this panel are “Oscar” winners in my opinion!!!
But not as many as Sproul.

I listened to Alistair Begg on radio in Utah. So nice to put a face with that wonderful voice & his awesome ministry.

I respect and love you all. Hear Hear John M. The late R.C. S., all, I have listened to all your sermons these conferences. All this knowledge is great wealth. Best laid plans to invent a new God. Sproul, Learning the Character of God to love so great so Holy. I binge watched Sproul all 66 Chapters verse by Verse. The life of Jesus the True Gospel. It plays in my heart my mind. I visualize it daily. Hear Hear “Read the Scripture” Hear hear You can’t coast through it”

I thank the Lord for all these great men of God. God has used them greatly in bringing me to Reformed(Biblical) Theology, especially Brother MacArthur and Brother Sproul. All glory be to God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
I come back to this 2001 Conference on Holiness often and as I see these men (now 16 years older) I pray we will have them for another fair or good amount of years...all of these here, Jerry Bridges also, I will (and do) listen to often and I have not seen the next younger generation having any of this soundness in their preaching...Lord? Give us men as these?

bible4truth Freewill and predestination exist at the same time. God simply knows the end of the story and who will and who won't believe. That doesn't remove the person's freewill choice to repent and believe. There are things bigger than our understanding. I'm okay with that. When this type of theological wrestling occurs we have to default back to Christ and Him crucified. Grace.
bible4truth Indeed, Jesus died for all..for all to have the opportunity to accept His free gift of grace. But not all will choose Him and God knows that and allows that because God must know who truly loves him and must separate those who are His and those who ARE NOT His.
What an erudite and fun group! We are blessed to have these men of God share with us. Love these panels. Thoroughly enjoyable and instructive.
My pastor was wanting to take me to the new conference John had but wasn't able to go. He wanted to introduce me to john and his wife. My pastor was John and his wife's security guard. He and his wife tells me stories about them. A great blessing to have moved from my old church to my new church. I know it was God that lead me to were I am now.

Wow! A breath of fresh air when I found this discussion from the great minds of theologians. Entirely enlightening from the word of God and the humble acceptance of these men to total dependence on the Lord as they continue to live through their earthly lives. Thank you.
Such wonderful commentary full of Truth and I see great teachers with great (golf) biographies, made my cry with joy at such Truth about God's Word. These men searched for Truth and found it. Now they teach(with Holy Spirited power) people like me and I am honored to be on the receiving end. Thank You for all you do and you rank 1st on my list as true teacher's and preacher's of God's Word in great detail.
I’m glad Alistair Begg mentioned how much he got out of the words of hymns. I have often gotten comfort when reading hymns. Sometimes parts of hymns come to mind to help in certain times in life, and sometimes scripture comes to mind. I liked when Sinclair Ferguson spoke about John Bunyan. Bunyan is one of my favourite historical Christians. I heard Sinclair Ferguson preach on Jonah in the1980s, at St.George’s Tron Kirk in Buchanan St. Glasgow. Eric Alexander was the main preacher in that Kirk around that time.
I trust the preachers from The Ligonier ministry, Southern Theological Baptist Church and Grace Community Church to deliver the Truth of God.

Read the Bible and God to help you understand it if you're uncertain/confused. You'll be SO much better off than listening to doctrines of men.
Couldn't help but think R.C. looked ill in this. I didn't personally know the man but am so very glad his ministry was recorded and lives on for those of us who can learn by them. Thank you for sharing. So thoroughly enjoy these.

God is spirit. You will never “see” the essence of God in the way that you’ll see the physical aspect of Christ’s human nature.

Even though i walk through the valley of the shadow God is with me. His rod and His staff will comfort me. i will fear no evil. We are continually in the valley of the shadow of death.

There are just so much to learn from these men of GOD. I can't help but listen to these over and over.
The wisdom from these men is so encouraging. I am blessed to know that my walk is a struggle just as these men are struggling through also. Bless them Lord for the important work they do.

How time flies. I thought it had been a lil over 1 yr. I surely do miss him but I am grateful that he left all his wonderful sermons and studies. I love "the holiness of God". Wow! It is phenomenal.

The Holy Spirit just gave me a connection! Jonathan was the man that helped King David, and it is John the Baptist that baptizes Jesus. I believe the way John felt is about the same if not more love for Jesus than Jonathan having love for David. God bless

I love the game of golf. How great to think of walking with
god in that way--a great analogy. Also, studying the nature of God, His character enjoy so much trying to get to know God more, by studying His nature and who He is, not just what He has done. I also, use hymns as a part of time alone with God. The words of some of those great hymns can glorify God so much better than I can. How great is our God.!? I can't express it in my meager words. Thankyou to these great men of God and so many others who have helped me to grow in my walk with our incredible and so precious Savior.

So you somehow think that preachers that are on TBN are not ... real??.... What a foolish thing to say. The sin of pride is worse than being on TBN . Jesus despised the fariseism and the self-righteousness more than anything. When I hear this people , they always isolate themselves and erect walls around as being better and more intelligent and etc etc and that's pride, spiritual pride. Jesus despises that more than being a TBN preacher.
That’s because TBN is a celebrity driven cash machine whose air time is reserved only for prosperity preaching and so called ‘miracle workers’.

That was not my point, I will never worship people, like I see a lot of the people here worship JMc or Alister etc. I’ve heard Alister saying one time that he adores and loves passionately Simon and Garfunkel . For me that a no no . A man of God has nothing to do with Satan worshipers . So I completely stop listening to his sermons. He’s complete hypocrite . He criticizes people that preach on TBN but he’s the same. And I could give you countless ex with JMc and all of them . The apostles and Jesus were extremely humble but look at preachers nowadays including everyone on that panel .... where is their humility .

Love listening to these famous and remarkable theologians discuss matters of theology amongst themselves and other students about the Nature and Plans of GOD. However, when I get to The Kingdom of Heaven, I don’t expect to have to pass a test in order to enter or stay. I may be wrong, but I am a Child of GOD and Father hasn’t revealed all to me yet.

? At 50 min. mark, the question was, what happens to the Holy Spirit when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death? What is his role? I believe that he shields and comforts our spirit so that we can see, feel, and hear God's presence all around us.
It reminds me of "moral government theogy' that was taught in ywam when I was there in 1988.
