So once you receive the shipping label from PM, you have to upload the address information onto the third party's website and you pay a small fee. It's about 0.80 for polybags, 0.90 for most boxes and 2.99 for larger packages at stallion. Other shipping company fees are similar!
Sorry Jas, I have one more query. so for a canadian with a PM US, we have to bring our package to a Stallion branch BUT do we pay extra fees again? or is that included in the label we print out?
Yes, you have to pay delivery fees. It ranges based on how heavy and how large your package is. The standard polymailer size is $0.80. We make it back though from the conversion rate so definitely still worth it 👌

I am very fortunate to have a winter residence in Florida but mainly live in Ontario, Canada 🙂. I believe you actually have to have an IP address in the states to sell on mecari. I've only heard about that but have never tried. If you're actually able to log on the site, then it would work the same way as PM if they provide prepaid labels
When I checked with UPS to ship a box 9x6x3.25 of 720 grams, it will cost me $32.07 to ship from Niagara to Missisauga (Stallion) !!! Is this what the usual rates are with UPS pick up?

Yes they can both be found in the description box! And no, you can't. They have to be separate emails and usernames. This will be your login for your account so it's not even possible to use the same.

Since I'm not doing this fulltime, I didn't want to invest in a crosslisting platform yet. Unfortunately right now I manually crosslist everything to both platforms (very tedious)! I was thinking of trying out the bulk list feature to maybe crosslist as I think you would only need to fill out the excel once and could upload to both sites but I have yet to test that theory out!

I use crosslist magic to cross post between the 2. It's a free Google Chrome extension. You can also use it for ebay and depop, etc. Yes, I only use transferwise for my usd funds. For the Canadian platform, just use your normal banking info. I believe once you have funds available to deposit (ie. After making a sale) you should be able to see where to put the banking info

That info is only there for purchases, you don't have to worry about putting that in if you are just planning to sell! Once you have available funds in your PM US account, then you will be able to enter the transferwise info to make the deposit. Hope that helps!

Another source mentioned a buyer used a Canadian bank account to buy on poshmark USA platform and seller never recieved funds because Canadian bank accounts are not accepted? But if canadian banks are not allowed, why didn't poshmark stop the buyer from proceeding to buy? Not sure if you have any perosnal or heard of similar situation, curious to know...

Yes you can sell on both platforms! If you are accessing the website on your desktop, you would login on .com or .ca if on the app, you would just login with your different user names. Unfortunately you have to upload your closets separately. I sell way more on poshmark US but there are certain brands that sell better in the Canadian platform compared to US! Hope that helps!

You only need the wise account when making a sale on PM US so you can receive the US funds. If you are purchasing something from a US poshmark account, you can just link your credit card or PayPal account and they will just convert to Canadian dollars on your statement. Hope that helps!

Once you've set up your transferwise US account, they should provide you with all the banking details that you put in for your PM US account. And then once you've made a sale and have funds in your transferwise account, you need to put your Canadian banking info in your transferwise account to transfer it over. Hope that helps!

I only know of ones in more central toronto area! Try doing a google search to see if anything pops up! If you have an older chit chats account, it should still work!
Yes, you will eventually be asked to enter the SSN number but they have now allowed you to just contact PM to notify them that you are a resident of Canada and they will bypass it
Yes you do! If you are using your phone, you are logging into the same app so you definitely need a different email so you can distinguish between the two accounts

My understanding is Poshmark buyers need to accept within a time frame after receiving package THEN funds get transfer to your account, can you talk more about that? What happens if they don't accept? Also can you look into doing a video on the packaging process?
Yes, funds only get transferred into your account after the buyer has accepted the package. They have 3 days after tracking says that the package has been delivered for the buyer to accept the package. If more than 3 days has passed by and they still have not accepted it, the funds automatically get released to your account. Sure, I can look into doing a video on packaging. Do you mean how I ship my orders?

@@simply52ly sometimes we can't avoid it if it weighs more than 5lbs. I believe on poshmark canada, our shipment cost covers 2.5kg which is 5.5lbs so slightly more than on the US platform. And it is $1 more for 0.5kg increments. It's pretty reasonable. My bundle was actually under 5lbs but I have had to upgrade for a pair of boots. You just have to be mindful of the extra costs in your profit margin
I'm in Vancouver and I can only find ChitChats ships via USPS but no longer takes third party labels like Poshmark! Anyone know an alternative in BC or on Vancouver Island??

If you have finished the account process, you should be able to click on "account" and "bank details." This should be where your US banking information is located! This is the info that you put into PM when you are trying to deposit funds. Hope this helps!

I use stallion express to buy my shipping labels when I sell on EBAY but poshmark gives you labels to ship your items when you sell something on that platform

If you receive a return, parcels will bring it back to you and it is $5 to get it back. I pay per package that I bring. Parcels for less costs $1.25 for smaller packages and $2.25 for larger ones. It is more expensive than other companies but they do provide free usps shipping boxes. Hope this helps!
Hi! I'm trying to sell on Poshmark US, and I'm finding that the cross border shipping services (Stallion, Cross Border Pickups) won't allow returns without a business license. Do you provide returns, and, if so, did you need to get a license for it? Thanks in advance!
I had a return from cross border pickups once and I told them I didn't have a business license and they said it was no problem! There is a fee to get your item back though. I think mine was around $12

It should take less than a week! Did you try sending a small amount first? I would recommend doing that just in case there's an error in the banking info you inputted!

I made a personal account since it's just being used to transfer into my own bank account. I think that asking price is reasonable for a racerback tank! And it gives a little room for offers. 🙂

@@simply52ly here it is: ship.stallionexpress.ca/register/V0u1QW (we both get $25 when we (eventually) load $100 on the account i just started using it this year, so far im really liking it. Packages get marked as received by USPS in 1-2/3 days. There are two locations (to my knowledge) that you can drop off, in Markham and in Mississauga, they also have a pickup option (but i haven't used that, i tried making a pretend order and I think it was $8 for pickup). You can choose to use your own UPS label or use their service to create one, Poshmark gives you one with an order, so you don't need to make a new label. Costs $0.85-1 per package for (not too big packages) them to deliver for you and drop it off in the US. I don't think Chit Chat has the option to use your own UPS label, but you are able to purchase a shipping label to the US through them. I haven't price compared between Cht Chat and Stallion so I can't comment on which is cheaper, try both before shipping. I was trying to get a quote for tracked shipping within Canada and I dont think they give you a discount(?) unless you're a business account, however, I signed up as personal. You can change your account type by emailing them, but I haven't done that yet. Hope that helps!!

I don't believe you can as PayPal does not provide you with a US bank account. In order to receive funds after a sale, you need a routing number and account number. PayPal doesn't provide you with one.

Oh! I just noticed I have bank details for "inside the US" and "outside the US"

This was very informative, thank you. My understanding is Poshmark buyers need to accept within a time frame after receiving package THEN funds get transfer to your account, can you talk more about that? What happens if they don't accept? Also can you look into doing a video on the packaging process?
Yes, funds only get transferred into your account after the buyer has accepted the package. They have 3 days after tracking says that the package has been delivered for the buyer to accept the package. If more than 3 days has passed by and they still have not accepted it, the funds automatically get released to your account. Sure, I can look into doing a video on packaging. Do you mean how I ship my orders?

In this situation, if the items combine happen to be more than 5 lbs, do you recommend eating the extra shipping cost? or ....? How much is shipping over 5lbs anyways?
@@simply52ly sometimes we can't avoid it if it weighs more than 5lbs. I believe on poshmark canada, our shipment cost covers 2.5kg which is 5.5lbs so slightly more than on the US platform. And it is $1 more for 0.5kg increments. It's pretty reasonable. My bundle was actually under 5lbs but I have had to upgrade for a pair of boots. You just have to be mindful of the extra costs in your profit margin
I'm in Vancouver and I can only find ChitChats ships via USPS but no longer takes third party labels like Poshmark! Anyone know an alternative in BC or on Vancouver Island??

Thank you for all of this great info! I am following your instructions to be able to sell on Posh US. I’m currently a Canadian selling on Posh Canada. I signed up to Transferwise but I stuck. I can’t see where it gives me a bank account number to use when I sign up for a Posh US account. It said something about Cards aren’t accepted in Canada at this time. Would appreciate your guidance.
If you have finished the account process, you should be able to click on "account" and "bank details." This should be where your US banking information is located! This is the info that you put into PM when you are trying to deposit funds. Hope this helps!

I use stallion express to buy my shipping labels when I sell on EBAY but poshmark gives you labels to ship your items when you sell something on that platform

I don't believe so! I've had 2 returns and the shipping company I used did not require me to provide any of that information

Parcels bring it back to you and you pay the fees? Do you pay a monthly fee to parcels or you pay by each shipment? How much approx do you pay? thanks
If you receive a return, parcels will bring it back to you and it is $5 to get it back. I pay per package that I bring. Parcels for less costs $1.25 for smaller packages and $2.25 for larger ones. It is more expensive than other companies but they do provide free usps shipping boxes. Hope this helps!
Hi! I'm trying to sell on Poshmark US, and I'm finding that the cross border shipping services (Stallion, Cross Border Pickups) won't allow returns without a business license. Do you provide returns, and, if so, did you need to get a license for it? Thanks in advance!
I had a return from cross border pickups once and I told them I didn't have a business license and they said it was no problem! There is a fee to get your item back though. I think mine was around $12
Hi! Super helpful video 🙂 I made my first sale on PMus and it was delivered! Made the deposit request and it says it could take a few days to be deposit in my TW account... how long did it took for you at first to receive the funds? Its been almost 5 business day now so I am kind of worrying lol
It should take less than a week! Did you try sending a small amount first? I would recommend doing that just in case there's an error in the banking info you inputted!

I made a personal account since it's just being used to transfer into my own bank account. I think that asking price is reasonable for a racerback tank! And it gives a little room for offers. 🙂

i just started using it this year, so far im really liking it. Packages get marked as received by USPS in 1-2/3 days. There are two locations (to my knowledge) that you can drop off, in Markham and in Mississauga, they also have a pickup option (but i haven't used that, i tried making a pretend order and I think it was $8 for pickup). You can choose to use your own UPS label or use their service to create one, Poshmark gives you one with an order, so you don't need to make a new label. Costs $0.85-1 per package for (not too big packages) them to deliver for you and drop it off in the US.
I don't think Chit Chat has the option to use your own UPS label, but you are able to purchase a shipping label to the US through them. I haven't price compared between Cht Chat and Stallion so I can't comment on which is cheaper, try both before shipping. I was trying to get a quote for tracked shipping within Canada and I dont think they give you a discount(?) unless you're a business account, however, I signed up as personal. You can change your account type by emailing them, but I haven't done that yet. Hope that helps!!

I don't believe you can as PayPal does not provide you with a US bank account. In order to receive funds after a sale, you need a routing number and account number. PayPal doesn't provide you with one.
Are you using chitchats?
By the time I signed up for chitchats, they were no longer taking prepaid shipping labels. I do use it for my ebay sales most of the time though
