I doubt it. I tried this with my 2 year old black cat and he wiggled just fine. I think it's about their comfort level because my orange cat would not allow this. Edit- I was incorrect. I guess my void is just super comfortable with me and my spouse!
You all are right because it depends on the comfort level, what each individual cat finds comfortable etc BUT rag dolls are known to behave like rag dolls more often
I had a ragdoll named Romeohe was 30 lbs. He wanted attention all the time which he got. Ww had another cat named Solstice that he was raised with. They both passed away within a year of each other they were 17 and 18 years old. Loved them dearly.
I am so sorry for your loss. I just lost my 14yr old baby boy and having a hard time with how empty it is without him. I have a 17rs who I hope lives until 30. It's always too soon.

I have another kitty who is attached at the hip, and he was able to hang out with Romeo for about 4 months before Romeo passed. Henry follows me everywhere and has to sleep on me and as close as he can get by my neck with his paws out ❤️. I luv him and still miss my other babies.

My 3 cats are most definitely NOT ragdolls, but I'll try this test. + my Oriental Shorthair mix cat passed the ragdoll test! (he was totally relaxed but looked at me all confused afterwards) + my Flame Point Siamese cat passed the ragdoll test! (he was also totally relaxed, then looked at me like I was crazy, but then rubbed against me a bunch of times) + my fluffy chubby 22lb Turkish Angora cat passed the ragdoll test! (I strained to pick her up and I thought she'd be at least uncomfortable when I wiggled her, but she was completely relaxed and even started purring!) So, are all my cats now honorary Ragdolls?!?! LOL

Cats only hide pain when it's not your fault - otherwise, they WILL let you know if they're hurt, or even a little uncomfortable! If this was the case, they wouldn't have passed the ragdoll test. :)
@nessat6335 Well you can pick up your cat in a way that doesn't have the potential to sprain or even dislocate their armpits. If your cat is in pain that may have already happened at that point and I can see from your comments that you do really care for your cats, so I don't think that you wish to put them in harms way. So you should support all of the cats body weight while picking them up, that's not the case with how you'd hold a cat while doing this 'test'. I truly do not intend to be mean or ruin your fun and you can still pick your cats up, I simply think it's best to do it in the safest manner possible. But if they're not in any discomfort you might be right, sorry if I come of as rude.

Also, I think my cats all passed because the way I often hold them is KIND OF similar: I have them facing outward from me, I support their front paws with my left arm, and instead of "wiggle wiggle", I support their butt and tail with my right arm. ..... Then I look at them in the mirror, tell them how awesome they are and kiss their soft heads! Anyway, it's just speculation, but maybe my cats were relaxed and not confused because they thought I was simply adjusting my normal (more supportive) hold. But yes, I do NOT plan to regularly wiggle wiggle them, though technically there's a higher risk of me injuring MYSELF if I keep doing it to Lucy (the 22lb Turkish angora) LOL, she's big but she's much longer than my other 2 cats so she outruns them! She's also VERY fluffy so she looks fatter than she actually is. .... She IS fat though, just not as fat as her floofy body looks. She eats much less than my thinnest cat - I do try to play with her to make her exercise, and so do the other cats!!! She's active for a very short time, and I don't want to force her cuz it'll stress her out... Stressing her would be emotionally draining for both of us, AND stress would physically make her body hold onto fat instead of losing weight. :(
