    Jon Bon Jovi no es solo una estrella consumada del rock, es un hombre que ha logrado en su vida lo que otros ni se preocuparon en hacer, mientras otros se drogaban todos los días, derrocharon el dinero, perdieron todo, este tío disfrutó, viajo por todo el mundo y no ha parado de ayudar a los necesitados, haciendo caridad, el que no entienda que ya a su edad sus cuerdas vocales no son las mismas para un cantante no saben que es envejecer! Es un tío alegre y sumamente humano! YO LO SIGO ESCUCHANDO DESDE MI BACHILLERATO Y YA HAN PASADO 40 AÑOS DE ESO!! GRANDE JON BON JOVI

      It takes major balls to go out there and give it all you got with a heart of a 25 year old,but declining ability because of aging. It's very difficult for singers to preserve the range as they age. It's not like a drummer can pop a Asprin and power through! Mr Bon Jovi nailed the spirit of the song!

      Bored Panda that might have something to do with the fact that industry has changed drastically since it’s inception. These songs were pop for their time, and there’s nothing wrong with liking them. I really like queen, and some Bon Jovi, but we have limitless options predating the 70s/80s. I’m 12 years older than you, and felt the way you’re describing when I was maybe 16 or 17; but even then if you wanted to find good music you had to look for it. Trust me, the radio back then was full of garbage too. But now we have a million other resources aside from classic rock radio (what ever that actually means now) and “hits” of today. If you go searching, you will find revelatory contemporary music from. No use getting trapped in any boxes

    • @ArcaneSnowflake
      @ArcaneSnowflake 3 роки тому

      @@opaljk4835 I'm not really trapped in any boxes. when asked what my music tastes are I always say it's eclectic because I like music all over the map. There are just some bands who's music I love the whole way through like Queen and Bon Jovi but I also like more contemporary music like Panic at the Disco, Marianas Trench, Dua Lipa, etc... it's usually just specific songs I like and it's rare for me to like pretty much all of the songs a band has performed. My aunt controlled my iPod as a kid since I was borrowing hers and using her iTunes account so I grew up with her tastes which is where my love of older music comes from but she was also very eclectic. You could go from the Pogues to Dropkick Murphy to Queen then end up with Selena Gomez and Lady Gaga and then suddenly Karma Chameleon will play then Home for a Rest. It was always fun to see where my music would take me next. It's hard for me to find songs nowadays since the culture has shifted more towards styles and voice types that I'm less fond of. Not saying the music is bad just not to my tastes and thus harder for me to appreciate

    • @opaljk4835

      It sounds like he shredded his vocal chords. Age has a little to do with it but if you dont learn how to sing and breathe properly you end up fucking your self up. Specially when you gots a crazy tour schedule. Look what happened to Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, or Joey Ramone by the end of 22 years of touring for over like 180 days a year. He didn’t lose his power but the toll was taken. Eventually got his voice back in shape before his untimely death, but he was lucky.

    While, this is probably the best I’ve heard him sing in a while, you can tell that he is straining with every note. And then at the end you can tell that he’s not happy because he can’t sing like He used used to. It’s a big issue when you take a bunch of time off in between tours, especially when it comes to years and you don’t sing. Your voice is a muscle just like any other muscle in your body, if you don’t work it out on a regular basis, it’s easy to lose what you have.God blessed me with a six octave voice, But I know if I don’t sing for an extended period of time it takes a while to get the high highs back. Sometimes I think theyre never coming back. Just believe me when I say it’s tough for anybody. It’s just not age.

      You're projecting your own feelings onto Jon with regard to how he was feeling at the end of the song. The very last scene is of him smiling/laughing. I do agree with the rest of what you said though about it not being just about age. You can look at guys like Geoff Tate who ruined his once God like voice by smoking. Same with Rob Halford, Don Dokken, Freddie Mercury, and many other once talented singers who did not take care of their instrument (their voice). Of course, there's also improper technique which can chip away at one's vocals chords. Glenn Danzig, David Coverdale, Paul Stanley, and Ian Gillan are all victims of that.
