Made this mistake.
Every time Jesse quotes the bible, these fake christians always say, "and I understand your opinion and respect it....". Like, dude, those aren't his words and opinions, he's quoting the Bible, God's Word. But since they reject Gods Word for themselves they don't see or hear that.
Ironically Jesse often does the same thing. It’s an interesting show but Jesse is not a Christian. Check out his interview with ray comfort... brutal
I like Jesse's channel and his interview style but when it comes to the Bible he is definitely not on point. Jesse actually often misquotes the Bible and many of his beliefs are contrary to the Bible. So no one is rejecting God's word. You obviously know very little about the Bible and that is why you fall for it.

I married an Asian Woman (Korean). She passed away last year. We had a marriage that was good overall, but I had problems with credit cards. However, after learning to face facts and have real communication with my wife and family we learned to work together to solve our problems. We also learned to live for our children. Marriage works best when you learn to sacrifice and work together.

I really see where you come from Jesse, but I strongly disagree that we had it 100% right 2000 years ago. It takes strength to admit you are wrong or to listen and try to learn from someone else - regardless of their gender. Jesse doesn't use scriptures and bases his belief off of his own understanding, which the bible says not to do. He even demonizes women in his conversations, something else the bible says not to do. I agree with most of what Jesse has to say. The man is the king and his kingdom is his family and home and the man gets his strength and authority from God. What I disagree with is how the woman needs the man as a go between with her and God. The man is God's surrogate but men are not perfect a man can't give a woman all she needs because the man doesn't have all she needs only God does. The woman needs a direct relationship with God not through anyone else.

Strong women doesn't mean weak men. Help meat in the bible (referring to women) means "intellectual observer." Women are (in part) meant to observe the good or bad actions of men, and to report them to God. God is not a respecter of persons. Regardless of gender, age, race, etc. God does not love one person above another. The Bible is pretty clear on this stuff. Men are strong is some things, and weak in others. Women are strong in somethings, and weak in others. That's why men and women go together, to help balance one another.
So god needs women to report the actions of men to him? It is said that god knows everything past, present, and future, so how is it that he needs reports now.

Society changes as it must because the book of revelations will be fulfilled. But God's Word will never change and His ways will always be the same. I learned a lot from this episode. This man should not confide in his wife because she is not emotionally strong enough to handle his problems (the woman is an attorney). And this man who understands that he has strengths and weaknesses and leans on his wife for her strengths is a WEAK man and father because he does not solely depend on God. Fascinating.

a major problem I have with Jesse's view, aside from the fact that its kind of sexist, is that he thinks that a man should never share his feelings and troubles with his wife. In my mind, if you don't share those things with each other it can breed distrust and distance. You probably won't feel that you know them as well if you don't know their feelings and some of their weaknesses.

Jesse why shouldnt men get angry about evil? People who enjoy preying on and sexually, mentally, emotionally or psychologically abusing innocent children is not something God or any decent human being should "love".
I disagree with Jesse in that I would want my husband to be able tell me *some* of his problems so I can pray for him. Not because I'm his Messiah but because we are one and have a physical, spiritual and emotional bond. If he doesn't talk to me at all I'd feel like a stranger to him. However, there are only so many problems I can bear as I'm not God. God can handle everything. If needed, yes he should go to His father or pastor for certain things. As would I. Use discernment, stay in the Word.

I'm always confused with the christian explanation of waiting till marriage to have sex, since in the bible marriage was not what it is now. Not getting to much into detail, there's no mention of Adam and Eve having an official marriage ceremony, marriage license or any legal documents. Basically according the it's definition of man and wife with Adam and Eve is basically that they we're made to have sex with each other. So basically according to the bible when you have sex with someone you are married.

Basically at that part of the story Eve was just created and Adam and Eve join together to make one flesh (sex) and there is no mention of a marriage ceremony. Just that they were mates because man and woman together make one flesh and become man and wife.

Meaning that if you have sex and both of you are committed to one another in the heart and minds then you are married.
On the other side, you could have sex with a female and not have a commitment in the heart or the mind, but only on the flesh part. And that is fornication
