    I must say, Jesse presents one of the calmest demeanors I have seen in a long time.
    He never gets angry or raises his voice. He listens and usually let's people finish their thoughts. And he asks difficult, but honest, direct, concise questions.
    You may not agree with all his views, but his motives and clarity reveal hesitations, uncertainties, and ambiguities in his guests.

      @@kieransoregaard-utt8 I guess you didn't read my comment very carefully. I said he "PRESENTS". That means, when he's in front of a camera, this is how he behaves.
      I don't go to Jesse for moral guidance, orthe answers to life's problems, and he's not my role model. I go to him for mild entertainment.
      I made an observation about his actions in the video I'm watching. If you've found him to be of such consequence in your life that you decided to invest more of your time to learn more about him... 👏 Good for you.

    Being able to submit to my husband has been a stress reliever. There are some things as a woman, that I shouldn't be concerned with. My husband has proven that he can lead and can be trusted as he submits to God. He always considers my position and feelings....we pray about it and agree. Marriage can be a beautiful thing. As women we have to be ready to be wives. It requires putting your pride aside on both parts to solidify the relationship.

      Only one thing, i agree 99.9 %. The 0.1 % we tend to forget is that God looks at marriage, not living together, or anything else. We should know who we are to be ( which is knowing God first), then when we search we will find a husband/wife cause we obey God’s law. Not our carnal minds which is unstable.

      This is happening more and more because men marry for looks rather than compatibility

    • @Tony-mq2br
      @Tony-mq2br 5 років тому +6

      Jemimah Kendall i think men have always went for looks or need to be attracted/their type...they say men are visual creatures. The system enables and incentives divorce...technically women don’t need men anymore...should there be a stressful period between both parties then the escape route for a man is one of financial ruin, kicked out the family home and less access to his kids and crazy payments to his ex wife. If the woman leaves she keeps the family house, Keeps the kids and controls access to them, gets paid for being with the kids and for him not to be, probably has more money at her disposal than she ever has, had her weekends off so can go out with friends as that’s his time to have the kids as he works like a nutter all week, and then she could meet a new guy and have the guy live with the kids so she can live happily ever after again with a new man as the old man watches another man play dad with his kids. Intelligent, logical, wise men (nog many of them) see all these cons and just avoid marriage like the plague...without marriage the woman isn’t as incentived to leave as the perks aren’t as a divorce deal for her...it never used to be like this...men used to be needed and they wouldn’t be destroyed in the courts or financially...the state now strong arms and takes the money and resources from the man post divorce and gifts it to the woman...men also used to like having a status (family man etc)..that is destroyed upon marriage. These are just some of the reasons why men have had enough and being far more careful. I am and it’s no wonder men are going MGTOW...Shame really as the women will lose out more in the long run than the man but everyone loses out the man, woman and children and outer family

      Marriage is a one way legal obligation from a man to a woman. Fatherhood is not legally recognized. Why would a man want to marry or have children? Women lobbied to change the laws in the 70's to free them from any and all obligations that come with commitment...sickening.

      If thats the way a man feels then dont bother just go pay for it and get what want and be done. Dont expect a woman to invest if you wont or at least compromise only in way that both are happy with instead of a one sided relationship and if you cant then move on and don't bother putting yourself thru something you already know is going to happen because its natural and be free from the woman you don't want to invest in or be with...you could just be lonely and getting involved with a mistake

    Single for 17 years and continually improving myself. Just a thoughtful picnic, eating watermelon, chatting, and watching the sunset is simple, yet perfect. It is rare to meet a man putting thought into simple dates to get to know a woman. Dating is so stressful, because males feel they need to put on a show, instead of being authentic. It is easier to be alone. Women have forgotten how to submit and do not understand it does not mean a man has ALL of the control. Things have become so confusing.

      Miss Nonya, you spoken true words. These days young women choose to ignore the "Mr right man" and think of it as "No big deal" and put out in their teens and late 20's with the "Big bad boys". Until they reach their 30's and want to settle downwith "Mr right man", that Mr right man no longer there for her. Because he doesn't want it to be "His turn now".
      Most of us men turn to MGTOW as we are sick and tired of this b.s that brainwashed young women into, it ruins what held dearly, plus the ALL systems and government support are very on the womans side when it comes to divorce and child custody. She then can leech $600 -$900 a week from the poor bloke for 18 - 25 years.

    The "doctor" lost me when he said without sex men wouldn't care about women. I fully disagree. I also find it extremely insulting! I am not a creature of instinct. I enjoy sex as much as any man. But the feeling of being in love and being loved by the most beautiful, amazing woman in the world is 10 times better than sex. The way I feel when i see my wife and daughter taking a nap together is what reminds me of how great life can be. My daughter laughing, my wife smiling. Us going on a walk together. Watching my daughter experience new things, seeing the way my wife looks at me when I read to our daughter.... Sex has nothing on that!!

    Why are married people not asked why they are married? People ask single people all the time, why are you single? as if there is something wrong with being single, then when they/we say we haven't found the right person or situation we are deemed to have committnent issues. Married people should be asked why they are married. I believe marriage is deemed to be more socially acceptable than singleness, yet there are so many married people that are unfaithful, unhappy and have married several times, So again I say it is important to ask the question why are you married Some people have fallen into it because it is more socially acceptable but they arent happy and don't have the foundational things that make a happy marriage.

      I'm so sorry to hear about that Donald. That must be one of the worst things a woman can do to a man and I can only imagine how devastating it must have been. Given what is at stake and that this is demonstrably common, paternity tests should be made mandatory before a man's name can even be written on a birth certificate let alone be liable for child support. Women should not really have a problem with this, if they are not looking to deliberately deceive anyone then it will simply not affect them in any way other than to cement their relationship further. It would only be put in place to provide checks and balances against those women who would seek to perpetrate the very real crime of paternity fraud, which is surely in the best interests of everyone concerned. It should not even be an issue in this so-called age of 'equality'.

      You should never marry someone who thinks that a marriage can fail. My husband asked me if I would stay friends with him if we got divorced. He has been married once before (she cheated and had a child by someone else during the marriage) and had a long term relationship with a very feminist women afterwards (she used him for money and tricked him into signing away his home). My mindset is that marriage is for life. I told him "no". I said that if I am marrying him it is not because I intend to fail, and that once you are married you look for solutions. There is no exit. We have been married for 10 years, fells like we got married yesterday. We take comfort in each other, knowing that we have to make it work, there is not exit, we are in it for life. We are lucky to have found each other. Marriage is not about falling in love, it is about finding someone with he mindset of never quitting. Not very many people think that way now a days.

I feel for today's single people. Some do want to stay single, but I know those who have the hardest time trying to find a partner to marry. To take it further.... how many businesses still pay the wage of an employee who has left (taking 50% or more of the shares), while they get paid by the new employer too, and make money for the other company. NONE, that's how many. So why does anybody think that this would work in marriage or common law relationships? IT's FUCKED and men ain't playing anymore. High risk, low to no value!

    • @TheToledoTrumpton
      @TheToledoTrumpton 6 років тому +22

      Marriage was created to tie men to their children. Ancient societies and Christianity (in a rare burst of wisdom) realized that successful societies had children raised by both parents, rather than being raised communally.
      The laws and conventions around marriage were created before socialism, contraception and abortion. They were designed to protect women from a man leaving, as the women, once they entered a marriage were pretty much committed to having children with him and would find it difficult to find another man willing to support her and another man's children, rather than just finding an unencumbered woman.
      Nowadays, with socialism and working mothers, and abortion and contraception there needs to be protection for men who support women, who then leave with or without their kids, and then still get punished for the separation as if the woman was somehow a "victim".
      Sadly, what has happened is that men are realizing that marriage is a "Bad Deal" and we now have kids growing up without 2 parents, which is a detriment to society, and the original point of marriage.

    • @TheToledoTrumpton
      @TheToledoTrumpton 6 років тому +12

      Grzegorz - simply not true. Up until the last 100 years women couldn't provide for themselves or protect themselves. Childbirth and child-rearing was very dangerous for both mother and child, and it was a terrible survival strategy for women to abandon their major source of protection and provision. Not only that but only a very rich man, would take in another man's children and waste his protection and provision on them instead of his own.
      You are talking about what has happened since motherhood has become optional in a partnership and women who don't want children are struggling to be useful. They expect to be treated like a woman, and given the same respect, but that respect is awarded to them for their child-bearing, not for being a fake man.
      If they are not going to have children and be a good wife, then they are expendable, just like unmarried men are.

    • @GrzegorzDurda
      @GrzegorzDurda 6 років тому +2

      I disagree. They were just fine providing and surviving by themselves. There was even an island of lesbos where they lived as warriors and hated men. Women were great at farming, cattle and other skills. Many were warriors like the Amazons of the past.

    • @TheToledoTrumpton
      @TheToledoTrumpton 6 років тому +13

      Grzegorz - Lesbos is a complete myth, originating only because Sappho a lesbo-erotic poet was born there.
      The Amazons are also mythical.
      The funniest thing is that all these Amazons and female warriors are depicted with bows. The stupid thing about this is that it takes strength to pull a bow. Even with super-efficient bows today, women shoot 10% shorter distances. This would mean that in order to get a shot women would have to get 100 yards closer than the men they fought with. This is nonsense.
      Have you ever tried to plow a furrow with a horse-pulled plough? Handle a blacksmiths Hammer? Quarry stone? Shear a sheep? Erect Wood buildings and chop wood without power-tools? All these things take a lot more strength and endurance than you imagine in our modern world.
      One of the reasons people in colder countries may have evolved more successfully is because, due to the harsher conditions, women were forced to rely on men, and repay them with children, more than in warmer climates.

      The financial settlement is usually based on who has brought what to the relationship though right? I mean if the woman bears and raises the children and her career and earning power is stunted as a result, the man has a duty to share his assets with her and to financially support his children. It should be a fair division of assets reflecting both parties contributions in terms of salary, assets and unpaid labour.

    Men can be expressive, but with the right woman and especially in marriage. Men cannot be whiny, crying, and over emotional, because most women will not like it, but a good wife who loves her husband will understand. Men have to know when to express, and with whom, and not "lose themselves" in the emotion.

    I really enjoyed this. Great to hear, as a Relationship & Intimacy Coach that works with both men and women. It is also the reason why I am not married. It is one of the biggest turn off for a woman is hearing a man complaining to this mother and dropping into the little boy syndrome. It is time to begin attending to relationship with self and then learning how to relate with one another.

    This is a very interesting insight. I realize that the perception of the man and the woman is very different between the men on either side of the psychologist. I think values were what was missing from this conversation, like what values do they want in a partner and how they could get this. There was a lot of lingering on the cons of marrying a certain woman but I wish there were more conversation on the ideal person that is as realistic to their honest wants as much as possible. It was more a conversation in the grey area of the perception of dating and marriage, instead of about that grey are. It was interesting none the less, however.

    If I proposed a business deal to you:
    You put up 90% of the capital, I put up 10%.
    You put up 90% of the labor, I put up 10%.
    We both get paid the same salary.
    We split profits 50/50.
    I can renege on putting up my share of the capital with no penalty.
    I can renege on doing my share of the labor with no penalty.
    I can embezzle or steal from the company any amount at any time with absolutely zero penalty or obligation to pay it back.
    I can quit the business at any time for any reason or no reason.
    If I do quit the business,
    - the business assets pay for my attorney(s)
    - I get 90% of any business owned I.P.
    - I get a lump sum payment of a minimum of 50% of the business assets
    - The business must continue to pay my salary for 5-10+ years (in some circumstances for the rest of my life).
    - If the business revenue increases, I can get a "raise"
    - If the business fails or revenue falls and is unable to continue paying my salary, you get thrown in jail.
    Ok, if that business contract is presented to you, do you sign it?
    Well, newsflash, that's the contract you're signing when you get married.

    All the men in this talk need to purify their intentions in life. Their main goal should not be to get a woman or be so weak in matters of the flesh. Self development and self reflection has to come and it needs to be consistent with age. Women are actually very much in the know. The high value ones can read the men. We are strong in keeping it together emotionally and raising a family with high morals. It's a shame to hear that we are so 'distracting ' in your lives and you develop the need to play us like toys.
    It's an honour to love a man who is strong, keeps his gaze away in the presence of the females and knows how to teach these morals to children .
    It certainly is not the norm to bed your partner before marriage. What you mean is that it's society's low standards that most say yes to! That's why we are living in times of high disregard of true values and true spirit. This is part of the mess in society. Mass media BS.
    Don't be fooled by what is 'normal' . None of yous were created to be weak and stay weak.
    Don't blame it on the biology , it's just an excuse. There's lots to work on yourselves and don't point the finger on us women. Get smart and make the changes if you want to be a king . Cos only then will you find your queen.

      Those are not bad peaople, they are just mature man who have gone through a lot of frustration in their lives and have never been taught how to deal with that. Their parents didn't had any of the issues this guys have gone through so they lack all the necessary resources to become amotionally stable and centered.
      I'm not victimizing them because that knowledge is out there and you can find it if you are brave enough to get yourself together and seek for a better life experience, but you can't deny that the enormous changes that our society has gone through for the last 50 years have never been addressed seriously, all the traditions and structures refering to couples and marriage are dead and the men and women that we live in this time we are almost all lost and unable to engage on all the responsabilities that carry creating a deep bond with someone.
      That's why so many marriages fail and that's why we are having less kids and why everyday men and women hate each other more and more to the point that MGTOW and feminist groups are rising throughout all western countries. THAT is sad. Its sad that we have come to a point where no one trusts anyone, and they trust themselves even less. Those men up there could have been great and honorable people with the right trust placed on them and a proper guidance through their emotional life, but no, we are too fucking busy fighting each other and trying to overcome our love needs by enslaving the opposite sex instead of cooperating and being truthful about ourselves.

I am 59 yrs old, been married to a man for 35 years.. and he KNOWS he cannot fix my emotions, my drama, my women stuff...he listens to me, he hugs me, but he doesn't try to fix it.. he cant... he suggests I go have lunch with the ladies....
