So seeing her about to be killed by him again, it kicked his adrenaline into overdrive to reach her that quickly. Tetsutetsu said that he ran into the flames with zero hesitation to get to her. Not caring at all if he got severely burned in the process or killed if he didn't get into his Unbreakable form fully in time. He just wanted to save her, unlike before when he could've watched her die in front of him. The perfect resolution to his past trauma. 👏
This episode was Shigaraki going Plus Ultra. We saw a lot of heroes going beyond their limits in this arc. Mirko, Hawks, Endeavor, and many others. But this is Shigaraki's moment to push past his body's limits and go beyond. Even as the damage accumulates without his quirk, he remembers his dream. He remembers why he's fighting. He remembers his origin. And that's all the motivation he needs. Because no one was there to save him, hero or civilian, because no one reached out to him, he became who he is today. He was taken in by the worst man imaginable. And now he will reach his own hand out to the world and decay it down to the roots. Until the whole system that's full of rot and maggots has been crumbled to dust.
This episode feels better than last week episode for me. By the way, don't miss out on next episode's ED scene because there'll be some visual changes in it.
I just realized that the doctor from the first ep that told deku he's not gonna have a quirk is the doctor from the hospital that they are trying to catch
And when you think about, it's the heroes fault that this happened to Shigaraki. He's literally the result of heroes carelessness and the citizens were so dependent that heroes were around that they unbelievable ignored a child who *needed* a hero more than anything, but no came except for All For One.
And Endeavor is exactly what Shigaraki's (Tenko Shimura's) Das said:" in order to help complete strangers, heroes hurt their families!". Endeavor literally hurt is own family to save other people.
This episode was overall really good but my only complaint is at the end where the anime made it seem like shigaraki caught his punch with this mouth. In the manga shigaraki literally breakes off his jaw and teeth from doing that. Everbody misunderstood because of that when in reality 100% shouldve done some real fkin damage

(edit: I forgot that the quirk is gone until he blinks so he doesnt have to constantly see them). And how did 100% not do anything!? Worst episode of the season but still great. Endevour and Dabi both like to let their opponents talk because it gives them time to cool down. Gran Torino even commented that endeavor had gotten weaker due to over heating. Ryukyu was doing her best to not let him move, he is WAY stronger than her at this point as you can see by him piercing through her arm with no trouble, the 100% attack broke his jaw,

I always assumed Deku purposely put his arm in shigaraki's mouth for the purpose of making sure he had more grip and hold onto him. Maybe I am wrong tho. They might show it better next episode since they had put it in at the end.
