- In 2002, while we were making Look Around You Series 1, me and Peter Serafinowicz were writing the full length version of Little Mouse. When we'd cracked it (with choruses that changed slightly later), we recorded it on a rubbish tape recorder. And here are the results... All set to behind-the-scenes pics from the series shoot.
Look Around You was something else. This song just seals it!

Robert has done so many incredible and funny things this century, it has been a wonderful journey - I've been SO entertained thanks to him. Huge amount of talent around the two series, and I just can't stop watching them. My fave must be the alt. ending of the Medibot facelift, it is beyond perfect and still get tears in my eyes from laughing at it! ps Reggae Man!

It's great to see such attention to detail put to scenes that may appear for only a couple of seconds as a quick joke. And most of those outdoors shots are so 70's that one might not pay much attention to them, as they're so akin to BBC stock footage; so it's great to see the behind the scenes shooting of those scenes. These photos are gems, glad you shared them.
A great series! I love the show and Little Mouse. A few years ago I showed the episode to my class and they loved it. They were singing Little Mouse in the halls.
Great photos! I loved both series. This was the best show of 2002, I'm glad I found it one night on BBC 2. When I got the dvd, I put it on while my dad was asleep and woke him up without telling him what it was. After a moment he asked 'What's this?' and I said it was an old science program. Then he twigged something was up (I think it was when the pea being dissected) and I couldn't stop myself laughing! I'd love to see a third series, that would be great. Thank you Robert. Thobert. :D

I showed Look Around You to an ex gf and she said, "It's so ahead of its time!" Even though she had been fooled into thinking it was a late 70s/early 80s programme, I still think she was right.
