Yeah, but that can also be difficult to do. Lots of regulations they need to get past in order to have an underground train line. That’s why the 2nd Avenue line in NYC is taking forever. But then again, an underground Light Rail would be nice as these trains get into a good amount of accidents with cars.
I love the light rail. Only if light rails need to be elevated or underground to reduce traffic impact.

It’s mostly grade separated only the segments in exchange place to Newport is on the street of very light traffic.
