i had an Antelope Zen Studio back in 2017, always amazed how large and clear the sound was, you dont even need hardaware gear or go deep at sound design to make thins sound fuller, well times change now i have an inexpensive chinese brand audio interface. good sound, but i need to go back to Antelope sound again, time to make more hits for people lol at least at my local area lol
It’s misleading towards the end that making it sound like the built-in effects will alleviate the computer’s CPU where the effects are locked down to only work during recording process. In addition until Antelope develops a control or console app for an iPad or an iOS just the way you have demoed it for Mac, it’s a half baked interface for using it with mobile devices. Other companies like motu, rme, apogee and more have managed to do this a number years ago but Antelope has dragged their feet to develop and support mobile devices. Storing a preset does not work when recording in remote locations as some tweaking is required. Maybe have the full control directly on the device like Neumann. It’s like almost a perfect mobile purpose device but missing a key component.
Recent updates dont fix my system issues I talked several times with technical support and they haven't been able to solve it. when you have new product like the quadro most likely would be fine but after a couple years when this guys release new gear they will make you upgrade by not supporting previous models. wierd noises on the head phones outputs, recording clip noises and no output sound on the main monitor so this interfaces relay heavily on the software and once antelope abandon the product follow up you will be f*ck*dup. without mentioning the launcher issues that doesn't even recognize the device. Its a waste of money would never be able to recommend or suggest someone to buy this brand for me its scam. Then I purchased a ssl2+ (which I'm loving). now I realize that purchasing expensive interfaces would not make a huge difference.
@@jeanyague2754 yeah I definitely had/have issues but the updates have been pretty steady on my Zen Go. I'm currently dealing with a constant clicking noise that happens when the phantom power is turned on. Basically making it unusable for recording. Got it back yesterday after 2 months out for repair. They didn't repair it. 🤦🏾♂️
@@jeanyague2754 Hey Jean. Thanks for that feedback. I was about to buy this interface, but I have been reading a lot of negative opinions regarding antelope interfaces and customer support. I looked into the ssl2+ earlier, but I need something with good DSP effects such as this one. So I'm not sure what to get really.

Don't buy this after a couple of years their devices will be out of firmware support. My zengo is useless and its only 1 year old!
Tell me more? My firmware just updated like a month ago what am I missing?

@@jeanyague2754 Never update the drivers if your device is working fine. This is valid in all areas

I don't currently know of any interface that offers so much performance and is cheaper. Antelope make a great job.
Coustomer support very poor
