If the car has a known DTC. Why is it important to clear the DTC first before attempting this procedure? As always, great tutorial Bro!👌
because the dtc may be preventing the system from accessing required segment in computer related to the immo
@@pouncerminned863 Got it. Tnx👌
@@pouncerminned863 Thankx for explaining brother. You beat me to it lol.
Yes , this is true. Clear all codes all the time.
For example on Chevy truck, after fob programming . Remote start doesn’t work not until the engine light is cleared
@@autopurlieu Good to know, thanks. Keep up this good vids tutorials.
Had a Fiat Ducato, cleared all codes but one never cleared, was still active. But the process was straight forward, Worked straight away, for the first time ever. Fastet time adding a key, which it is usually not in my opinion. But only made a handfull cars so far.
Hi I am new in this business having some experience in electronics and embedded systems but new to car electronics and key programming. Just bought IM508 with xp400 pro and few other tools.
Your videos are great and helpful.
I would need a lot support from you and other folks here.
Thank you everyone.
That’s awesome. You can just message me whenever you need anything. I’ll try my best knowledge to help. 👍🏽
@@autopurlieu thank you so much
I'm going to keep investigating. What you've shown is what i know.... That it's hard to add two keys to a Nissan push to start system. Maybe not having them both in the car at the same time? Autel seems to be missing a step or two. Once it's complete the car is still in programming mode for a few minutes
Great video. Thank you it’s has to be a oem key fob?
After market is fine as long it’s the right smart key fob
clear dtc and generate the remote again , that happens to me all the time with nissan smart key
Were you able to switch ON ignition before programming the key?
Reason I am asking, I couldn't code a smart key on a Renault Triber and I was using a Xtool D9 Pro because the tool requires the ignition to be ON to identify the car and code the key
I have not work on Renault. Just my experience , your tool should be able to wake up the system. It should have some steps to be on programming mode
Hello some times when programming nissan smart keys it tell you that there is a great risk of performing the immobilizer function. And ask you if u want continue or not so what i can do i really get afraid to continue😃
Thank you
Yes that’s true. But when that happens, normally it shows the bcm number which to avails and match it with the bcm you are working on.
So you will know if it’s go or no go
@@autopurlieu ok i got it 👍👍
The alarm keeps going off
Not with this car
uh boy, should have edited the video a little bit ....
Video is showing the actual experience .
Not trying to hide anything .
