If its push to start u don't need it. But on some older ones there's a 16 minute security hold for immo box reset. The appb112 is nice because u can generate key from immo box then add key its much faster with all keys lost
Get the autel. Way better for the extra couple hundred . Xtool has alot of issues with chrysler fobs and can't do any German cars plus aytel is on Christmas special get it!
@jamescc2010 you need to reread that part there is very big risk of damage to the bcm. If you read that part again you will know why there was no risk on this particular car.
No tokens. Screw that. I would never buy a tool that require tokens. Free warranty with everytime u renew tool yearly. And 508 and 608 is same. Only get 608 if u do mechanic work. If u do keys only the 508 is much cheaper and u can buy xp400 pro separate. 608 difference has more diagnostic features and bi directional functionality. If u don't do mechanic work don't bother with 608. Plus 508 is smaller and easier to carry. 608 is huge.

Did you have the master key?
Doesn't matter if u do or don't. Same process. Nissans erase all keys regardless if u have one or not. And no such thing as Master key on Nissan.

No risk at all. And no. Aftermarket is fine. Just get good brand

As far as aftermarket there are a few models that prefer oem especially some Infiniti you will know because prox won't work.

Idk what car that is. Verify it even uses pin. Does it have security light?? Not all Nissan use pin and wen they don't the machine won't bypass.
