That eis kinda threw me too.
I expected the key to turn the ignition on, while on the g-box...
It did when I had all keys lost on ml350.
Got my key counts infared and eis tool shows position 8 programmed, and as last key inserted... so it's good to go🤪👍
I check the key cycle # to see if the key insertions are more than 1.
Had a power supply die during programming, it had a single count, but was not matched to the eis.
Had to go to ies tools and learn the key to position 8. Make sure you take a picture of the calculated code... it will be necessary to match the key.
If you didn't save the code, you'll need another blank key to do the calculation again.
I have never dismantled a car like that, always the lower plastic part, I turn 2 screws until the EIS comes out with my hand, my hand is bigger than yours. and to take out the eis is 2min job. plus programm key with cg mb or other tool max 10min

I have CG MB and it can never provide password. Im sure my unit is faulty but CG MB customer service is terrible
That’s a lot of work, seen guy just removed top vent put his hand down and pulled it out after he removed ring with needle nose pliers, unhooked wires and out it came . You did good job thanks

Hi there. I just did an all keys lost on a 2006 (209) mercedes c200. I did the key on bench with autel and g box. When i put it into ingition it says " computing data, please wait "
Will this key synchronize after a few hours??
Its an aftermarket key. Not from dealer.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as id like to get paid for it 😂
Yes, that happen sometimes . I don’t remember how long you need to leave the key in and it will sync

I don’t use the key tool max for programming. I only use the key tool max for generating remote , generating chips and to control my Xhorse condor machine.
Even thou, key tool max isn’t capable of doing on Mercedes at All

Mercedes fobik keys use infared and emulated transponder. I don't think there is any way to clone the key... just repairing the old key, or desoldering the IC, and putting it on a good board.
Same procedure with E500 for all key lost? Autel said OBD for all keys lost.

If autel said it can be done OBD, it should work. AKL would be same on bench.
In car can be a pain, all keys lost.
I believe that the esl will need to be disconnected and the fuse cable for gbox inserted.
If you go the old without gbox... it will take a very long time, with up to 3500 key insertion cycles😮

Gbox2 will make things easier , faster and safest way to calculate password . Will not corrupt the file or module
Nice work of removing that eis bro! It's a pain to remove eis on w209. I would rather just read that eeprom data since eis is out, it only takes a couple of minutes to read the data. I usually just use vvdi or cgmb to do it via obd, it takes around 1 hour but I don't have to remove anything.
I’m saving for vvdi. Hopefully by summer I have a budget 👍🏽
Cgmb have been said to be good but i have had very bad luck with mine. Nothing possible by obd with it. What a disappointment. I think i purchased a problematic unit and cgmb customer support is terrible they just say if it does not work by obd just do on bench sir lol 😂

Autel is regionally locked, so you can't use one designated for another country... if you had a us/canada version, it cannot be used in any other part of the world. 😮
Is it true that Mercedes can add up to 10 keys and then ecm needs to be replaced?

8 keys... and they have a life cycle countdown.

G-Box is connected to 12v 3a power supply.
The thing is I got two of those w209 here waiting for programming but can't get it to connect
@@doron2500 check all your wiring . Make sure when you turn on the programmer. You should hear a long beep

What tool did you use? Autel is my favorite but i also have CGDI, vvdi MB, prog and keytool plus but if Autel got it then ill just use that.
