This one would have been my price range lol. Wow so many awesome machine. I love to follow your work. Humble self says one day I want a bike like this one, double suspension, never was able to afford one of these, although hard working. This one seemed my price range lol. And how ever long it would be on my bike work bench, I wouldn't mind. Every month I will add a part, until it's proud of itself again. Awesome to see you work on these great bikes. Thank you for keeping them blast. Good luck!
Of all of the builds I have watched so far, this is my favorite. Shows a complete teradown and rebuild, but also shows a bike that is used and ridden. These are all great bikes and it is nice to know that they are not wall hangers to show off, they they are getting miles on them.
it's such therapeutic experience watching you work on bikes. this servicing is more interesting than builds, imho. truly amazing. I know why you didn't hosed down that bike first, but damn, it was hard to watch such a beauty so dirty :) hopefully, you'll start to offer more often larger bikes for competition. XL would be great, L is something we can work with :D
"I plan to teach myself to become a skilled bicycle mechanic and start a mobile van mechanic business. I enjoy watching content like yours, as it inspires me to bring quality bicycle repair services directly to customers. It’s an exciting venture, and I’m looking forward to sharing my journey!"
Great video, but even more time can be spent with this bike if necessary. You can change hubs' bearings, make full service of rear shock, make service of dropper post, make service of brake calipers and leavers, clutch service in rear shifter. So you can easily get something to do for you for one week of something. Thank you for the awesome video, we would like to see more of this.
I saw the video where you built it, the quality of Shimano and Fox is incredible when it was built two years ago and they are still in excellent condition. This cleaning you did leaves it like new, great job. I love these videos, dreaming of one day having my own bike built by you. Dream Build you rock💪🏻🔥
I can appreciate seeing the other side of a dream build. Yes it’s cool seeing all the new components and stuff being assembled but the reality is they are made to be rode and rode hard! Seeing the work that goes into maintaining a dream build helps me appreciate why the bike bill hits hard now 😂😂😂. This is work !
Hey Gee Milner have you ever done a Q&A video? I'd love to learn more about building or improving my bike or just bikes in general, seems like a really fun hobby or just something to do. (btw i mean Q&A about bikes or how you go into biking or how long you're been building, stuff like that, not like what's your zodiac sign or what's your favorite fruity alcohol beverage)
Rare to see a bike with that suspension layout, swing-link with a trunnion shock. Maybe the VPP links/ frame alignment are good enough that the shock isn't side-loaded too terribly.
Not so fast young man , you have to pay a thicket to enter this competition - whaaat ?? but i don't have bank acount , i don't do online payments , i don't trust banking ... so let's forget it
Well at least it was used. But wow this one looked like it came through hell. Great to see you give them some care and attention and make them look proud again. Great job!
Not gonna lie, that was hard watching him clean the bike with just a rag and spray cleaner. Also, why does the owner run YBN chains? Do they have shimano's hyperglide+ technology?
Oh man, great bike builds but when it comes to suspensions… that 34 SC takes 15cc of lubrication oil on the right side and 10cc on the left, it also needs fox gold 20wt, im pretty sure that oil from motorex you used hasn’t that viscosity. If you put a greater volume of lubrication oil you might damage the fork and it certainly won’t work well (might hydro lock or worse, blow the air seal head). And why did you depressurized the air chamber and sent it to stuck down if you didn’t serviced it?
water is a big no in cleaning bikes. water could seep in and can destroy bearings even if they're sealed. If you want to use water be ready to dry the bike and repack the bearing with grease.
Beautiful work! I don't want to be a smartass, but I can highly recommend wearing some type of gloves. All the grease, oil and cleaning products you use do harm to your skin, at least in the long run. Your hands are your labour, take care of them. Keep up the nice work
That spin on the crankset is not very convincing after re installation, you sure that BB is not miss aligned or in too tight? Also did you not forget the dust cap for the drive side bearing?
I have this exact bike. Spotless however, but will be beautiful again in 20 mins. Only thing I hate is no lock out. Every race bike needs a lockout. Contacted intense, they could care less. Ha

Love this. I love the fact that this bike is getting TLC and not just being replaced props to its owner. Nice thoughtful work that bike looks new!
Well said! I'm glad you loved watching us give this bike some love!

Great video... only question is why not start with a bike wash to get the dirt off everything before putting it in the stand?
First u have to take apart everything for washing & servicing properly. Then put back everything again for full rebuild

I love the way he rubs sand on the paintwork
Not a single bit went untouched! The gold standard for mechanics. Love to see it! Great work as always

It was a nice different dream build. Nicely illustrated and the mechanic knows his stuff.

Really in love of your services videos ! Need more of them on your channel please !!!!
all that bike needed was a good wash, and u made an 1 hour youtube film of it, not bad:)
This is a really maintenance, in colombia is very bad the services and bicycles suffering 😢😢, thanks by this class of videos i am really enjoy🎉🎉.
Thanks for watching from there!

One of my favorite videos so far!!! Giving some love and care to a used bike rather then just building brand new ones is right up my street!!!
Excellent maintenance video, let's hope it is the first of many more!!!
Thank you for the shout out! Emma love it! Just finish the vid! Better the second time lol
No problem!!
FINALLY. please make more of this.
Thanks for this! It helped me understand how to service the pivot on my new Intense 951 XC!
Beast Components, nice. Few know about them here in the USA. I have their bars on my Yetis. I went with blue.
Keep it up man❤
Never thought you would do a bike rebulid😮
Thank you! We'll be doing more!
@@GeeMilner Awesome, I love bike rebuild especially bikes that are in a very bad condition. Keep it coming!
Wonderful relaxing, an artwork! Thanks and props to the mechanic😊
Thank you too! What was your favourite part?
The bike looks like it has been through hell and back. Glad it's getting proper TLC
One ride and everything looks dirty no matter how new the bike is.
Using alot of spray to clean, no part washing tank? just curious. Does the mineral oil (Motorex) do well in cold weather?
We're going to try and get a small parts washing tank!
love this! hope u make some with voice overs giving tips on maintenance
Best dream build vid yet. Love the refurb!
Glad you like it!
Wow 👏 This is not build but rebuild. Like brand new ❤
Did you preterit to normal Dream Builds?

Hey they both clean up nice... He shaved... Love it chaps!!

Amazing video - pardon my ignorance but would it be helpful to wash the bike before disassembling it?

HI..Gee...Absolut Fantastic Video..Thanks...THUMBS UP
Many thanks
Rare to see a bike with that suspension layout, swing-link with a trunnion shock. Maybe the VPP links/ frame alignment are good enough that the shock isn't side-loaded too terribly.
Yeah it seems all good, usually can tell once you strip the shock down if there is bad alignment but clearly its ok!
Amazing ! More of this pls 🙏🏼
Now we talking , i am so in on this competition , even if i know i have a such small chance to win .. ... i liked this rebuild-service

What about the BB he installed?
Amazing work ! Congratulations
Great service nice bike to
Sure is, what was your favourite part?
@@GeeMilner the suspension breakdown and servicing never seen that been done 👍
Great job and video as always, but to be honest, I would send the customer first to give the bike a wash!
Absolutely brilliant video. But what kind of person brings in their bike in conditions like this for a service 😂
he said in the end of the video , its his own bike ..
Correct, it's Ricks own bike and we wanted to show it caked in dirt and the full process.
Like your work, a skilled mechanic.....but I wonder, have you ever washed the bike? 😂
Should the crank free spin when chain off just like wheel does or is some resistance ok?
That should free spin yeah
Not gonna lie, that was hard watching him clean the bike with just a rag and spray cleaner. Also, why does the owner run YBN chains? Do they have shimano's hyperglide+ technology?
Always different techniques to doing things! YBN chains are awesome
I mean…. Isopropylic alcohol is working well for that 😅

This was just a wash after a trail congratulations, brisketeiro.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Please more of this videos 🙏
Lovely. How are the scorpion tires? I might put these on my Propain Hugene 2
Hello! What kind of grease do you use on the rear hub rotor’s outer surface? The white grease or the anti seize?
Thanks for watching!
Great video!👍🏻
The tool at 4:32 is ridiculous! haha I think it's a little overkill to pop off a headset race.
Amazing.. Love to see this. Always best.
Would just like to ask, why don't you use water in removing the mud on the bike before doing the full service?
water is a big no in cleaning bikes. water could seep in and can destroy bearings even if they're sealed.
If you want to use water be ready to dry the bike and repack the bearing with grease.
Wouldn't be an issue unless one uses high pressure up close and carelessly. People ride in wet conditions on a regular basis .
Different approaches but we like to show alternative methods to just blasting a bike off with high pressure water!
Background Music remind me Resident Evil 4 Merchant theme... Very comfort to listen
Custava bater uma vap antes????
Love this Bike so much 😍
Now it's serviced you could win it!
God damn! This is a service? Looks more like a rebuild to me. Anyway, kickass video, badass bike!!

Cuanto tiempo demora un servicio ?
Olá top seus vídeos . Na próxima coloca rock de uns clássicos. Essa música da um sono 😴
Hi, what tyre lever did you use in the video?
All carbon Lodi♥️♥️
Orange build next ?👌🏼
sonunda yaptılar. Her zaman bekleriz :D
What's the thing you put between the rim and the tire?
That spin on the crankset is not very convincing after re installation, you sure that BB is not miss aligned or in too tight? Also did you not forget the dust cap for the drive side bearing?
Nice build. Great detailed video.
Glad you liked it!
So nice work 🤩
Refreshed 👌
Somebody introduce this man to the miracle that is hot soapy water!
Never heard of it?!
wonderfull images, wonderfull bike, wonderfull edition, all in this video is wonderfull... but no the one hour lobotomyzing noise 🥲
Good job, respect
'Music' is way too loud compared to sound of you working!
Not "way" too loud. Just a little too loud.
Music is not needed, the mechanical/workshop sounds are just fine.
Video is way too brown... Sepia bike build...
amazing
👏👏👏

@@GeeMilner All about the process.
quite impressed with the whole waterless cleaning process

If you have to ask, you couldn't afford it.
Good question! It would cost hundreds and hundreds of pounds thats for sure!
