When you thought you had set the parking brake the first time it actually said Parking Brake Released in the video. Thats why you rolled back

It said parking brake released when you parked in the driveway. I own a 2020 2500 hd. It automatically engages the e brake when you out it in park on an incline.

Pulled it with no problem. This is the kind of truck I need in my life

I just sold it and made $ on it. It was a great truck but I am adding bigger dumpsters so I will be getting a diesel.

I would like to know if any DOT is necessary for the weight of the trailer and truck if there are no plans to leave the state? recommend some insurance especially.? thanks for sharing information. much success!

No DOT needed since I don’t leave the state. Insurance just varies state to state. That’s a hard one to stay

Nice video 👍🏻. What’s the dimensions on that trailer?

15 yard trailer. Truly not sure on measuring. You aren’t the first to ask that so I guess I need to measure lol

How many yards does that trailer hold and what is the GVWR on that trailer?
Looking to get in the business and wanting to upgrade my GMC 1500 to a 2500, but not sure if that’s enough power.

It’s a 15 yard dump trailer. I don’t know off hand the GVWR but if you go to the Big Tex website the info is there

How's the mpg with your truck towing a full dumpster? I only tow about 4k lbs with mine and it only gets 9mpg around town in the burbs of Philly Pa. Lots of stop and go driving. I'm not too happy with the power of mine either.

Power has been fine for me really. What really sucks when pulling is the brakes. When it’s time to replace the brakes I will be getting better ones. I have never checked the mileage because I don’t want to get depressed lol.

@@eriksmith7829 I recommend powerstop brakes. Best brakes I've ever put on my vehicles.

@@eriksmith7829 on my 2005 toyota tundra they lasted 3 years and about 60k miles. The stopping power is very noticeable. You wont be disappointed. The wife's highlander has a set on the rear. A year later they still look new.
