Wow! Truly, truly humbled!! Thank you so much, my friend. I poured my whole life into this deck. So happy to see it being appreciated by yourself. ♥️♥️♥️
Just out of question (I am aware this is out of your power) but do you happen to know where your gaff deck is available as it seems to be out of stock in a lot of places
Apart from anything else .... I find myself just looking at them .. again ... and again. Some of them seem to have an almost hypnotic quality about them. Far to lovely to actually ever use. Simply covet !
I keep all my gaff cards in a trading binder using clear sleeve sheets. I love gaffs but kept forgetting what I had, so keeping them easier to see without sorting multiple boxes helps. Also helps combine multiple effects with matching backs.
Just got my first set of NOCs after years of favoring cards with more ornate backs, and I'm totally in love with them; just ordered a variety of other colors. The marking system is so clever, I've spent the last few days just cycling through the shuffled deck to increase my reading speed. Now I just need to add some gaffs...
Thanks for this overview, I'm just getting interested in magic and this was helpful. It's funny you say you don't do a lot of gaff magic but just like the cards. I've been having so much fun learning how tricks are done that I'm not spending enough time practicing them. Your channel is one I watch quite a bit, thansk for the good content.
My current favorite is also the Cohort's by Lloyd Barnes. I think the amount of instruction provided is really good. I have been performing magic for decades and don't usually use this style of gaff cards but given there are so many different routines taught there is a little something for everybody. Thanks for the review.
I too am a Gaff Nut. I have all the decks you mentioned. I’m no sure when you posted this but I have several others you didn’t mention. Rider Back decks: “Glory Gaff”, “Special Deck” by Magic Planet, “Magic Makers”, another Magic Makers deck by Marty Grams, a deck that is labeled “Rider Back” spelled backwards, and the “Black Tigers” and “Ghost” decks from ellusionist. Other brands include “The Parlour” (Parlour KickStarter deck), plus the standard “Phoenix”, and “Superior” Gaff Decks. And the granddaddy of them all the “Fa-Ko” deck Haines/Fox Lake Bridge-size deck. Maybe you have some of thes since you recorded this. And maybe you had them in the video and I didn’t recognize as one that I have listed. And I agree that it’s a bummer that several don’t include instructions. I also agree that the ellusionist decks which have wonderful gaffs are difficult (if not impossible for me) to use/perform. Also there’s a British printer called “Print by Magic” individual Gaff Cards (some are pretty unique). I know many magicians really don’t like (I very rarely use the word hate) Gaff Cards. But I think they are really fun to use for magic illusions or just being silly. One of my favorites is forcing three cards that when added/subtracted/multiply together equal 100. Then i say, “Something’s wrong. Use the middle digit for a number”. Then I have to reveals in envelopes. The first reveal is the “zero of diamonds”. The second reveal is the “100 of diamonds”. Yes it just silly but it fun. If you want a set let me know on Instagram @fdavidn 😋

Hi I am a beginner and I saw comments that recommended the Patrick killer deck before, which gaff deck is the best for beginners considering the number of tricks and the clear tutorial explanations? Thank you for the awesome review!
17TH GAFF DECK: If you are open to bridge-sized cards, then the Royal Universal deck provides a fun assortment of gaffs. And if you look at Pro Card Magic Set by Royal Magic available on Penguin... you get a Gaff Deck Regular Deck, plastic card change box, plus instructions on how to use all of the gaffs. And you get all this for $12.
