- These Angel Eyes / Halos are a very nice addition to my M3 IMHO. All 4 are 131mm in size. I got the kit on Ebay. Part or kit # was 142869708465

The Angel Eyes pair extra well with my black painted shrouds and Plasti Dipped inner chrome. I am a big fan that they light up when I unlock the car / when the interior lights come on. Also a big plus that when my Key is turned to the ACC position they stay lit up. I can understand the interest of hooking them up to the fog lights or right / left turn signal. But for me these two combined hookups are the perfect option.

Good job performing the soldier for tge interior lighting. I noticed when you walked around, you’re running E60 M styled wheels. Are those factory or something aftermarket? I bought knockoffs about 12 yrs back and while mine have taken different shades due to original peeling, I’m looking for a change the yr for those/summers (In Midwest) and absolutely have to have winters that reside on my factory 19’s. Appreciate your video. I’d like to go 9” front and 9.5/10’s on rear, but I’m forecasting a roll of the fenders. Thanks!

I was told from the previous owner my wheels are from a BMW M6. You are right, E60 M6 wheels. They are OEM BMW wheels. Before I purchased my E46 M3 I was going to put on 19" CLS E46 M3 style wheels. But I like my M6 wheels more now. They look good to me from multiple angles. A wheel spacer is needed in the rear. I like how mine have the same concave in for the front and rear with different wheel widths. The CLS in the front have a flater curve back and forth with the rear concaving in. The M6 a wheels just look balanced on mine.
I will have to check wheel widths. I have 255 35 R19 on the front and 295 30 R19 on the back. This rubber looks like a great fit on the wheels. It came to me with a tastfull sport suspension upgrade with about 1 inch lower than OEM. I do not track it but I have no issues with rubbing driving around town / highway. I would guess wider tires / wheels may need additional modification.

Are those oem projectors or did you do a retrofit? How easy was that to do?
These are the original 2001 oem projectors.
I watched a bunch of different videos before attempting the Angel Eyes upgrade. It helped me a bunch. I tried to combine most of what I learned in this video. I recommend watching other videos also as you may pick up some additional advice from other creators.
Watching my video on PLASTIDIPING the chrome and silver would be helpful also to pick up some tips on getting access to add the led rings.

Wenn Sie Fehler beheben. Versuchen Sie es zunächst mit den Angel Eyes, die mit Prüfkabeln direkt an die Batterie angeschlossen sind. Dies spart viel Zeit, wenn das Gerät nicht funktioniert. Ich habe festgestellt, dass die Crimpklemmen für elektrische Leitungen, die zum Einspleißen in die M3-Verkabelung vorgesehen sind, keine zuverlässige elektrische Verbindung herstellen. Vielleicht habe ich die falschen Crimpklemmen gewählt. Das Löten der Drähte ging schnell und sorgte für eine solide elektrische Verbindung. Viel Glück beim Reparieren Ihrer Halos!

Why isn't it working for me?
When you troubleshoot. First try the angel eyes conectied directly to the battery with tester leads. This will save a lot of time if the unit is not working. I found the electrical wire crimp clips designed to splice into the M3 wireing did not make a reliable electrical conection. Maybe I chose the wrong crimp clips. Solding the wires was fast and gave me a solid electrical connection.

What is the diameter of the angel eyes 131mm or 146mm?
All 4 are 131mm.
I did a bunch of reasurch and scoured photos of the different sizes and for me personally I think the same size and 131mm looks the best!
