I can’t believe I’ve gone all this time without knowing I could just add a magnet to the side of a socket in order to keep a bolt and washer seated in it. Thank you so much for this (and the other advice) Vital Explorer
Excellent. I needed to replace turn signal light but couldn't get it to click. Removal of the headlight showed me where one of the headlight tabs was broken. I was able to guide the turn signal into place and then guide the headlight back on.
Great video one of my halos moved over to the left of where it’s supposed to be and I was trying to figure out how to get it out so I can move it backward supposed to go now I know how thank you
Good video. Not many around that show how to remove the headlight on a car with the headlight washers left on the car, so that’s a big help. I would probably try to remove the blinkers whilst on the car first though, just to get better access to the lower headlight trim clip by the fender. Very scared to break that.
Just bought the rubber gasket that runs along the inside top edge of the front bumper and wanted to know how to get the headlight washer trim off so thanks for the video 👌🏻 also your the only person I’ve ever seen work on cars bare foot 😂😂👍🏻
Not sure why. Make sure you remove the unit from the fender, slide out from the fender clip and then unclip the trim from the side towards the middle of the car. Once the headlight is out of the housing get under and see what the obstruction is for the lower clips. If they are stock use some WD40.
Why are Eastern Europeans always the best at making car tutorial videos?🤣👏👍
The last hidden bolt is the one that was holding me back, thank u for exposing that pain
Honestly, very good video mate, I like how you mention that the last bolt can be tricky to get out and the solution for this.
Thank you.
Nice video. Showing these little clips on the plastic is gona save money to some people.
Thanks for the effort
Many thanks as well. Exposing the hidden 4th bolt for the win.
Just bought my e46 without head lights ordering them soon thank you 😁

Very helpful. I was stuck until you mentioned the last hidden screw/bolt.
NICE! Love how clean your ride is. Also great tip with a magnet on the end of the socket! (Get it, "great tip" 🤪)

Ruby Red M3. Very rare.

Glad this vid helped and humored you =)
VITVEL Explorer I’ll be doing it the end of the week so it’s perfect I found the video, thanks for posting 👌🏻
Do you always work with no safety shoes or any shoes at all?
Can you remove this type of indicator without removing the headlight?
You know the name of the little cover, under the washer trimp
Not exactly sure but try this one: HEADLIGHT LOWER MOLDING TRIM
My corner lights keep falling off 😐 left one fits. Right one doesn’t sit flush like the left one. Please help
Your clips are either not the same model year or possibly broken.
the trim piece under the headlight wont come out, ive tried everything and dont want to break it

I opened the wheel liner and put a flat head and pushed it. It was pretty hard still but after a little wiggle it came off.
Hi,
why isn't the driver side ballast / ignitor mounted on the chassis?
Good video...
Thank you
Thankyou!
Glad to be helpful!
How did the washer jet just pop out like that
Not sure what you mean, looks like it was an extendable construction.
both my rear screws are just spinning, virtually impossible for me to remove light lamp
Push up on the screw to help it out from underneath…
Anyone know what I can do to break loose the bolt that’s more hidden ?
Spray w40, let it sit, tap on the head of the bot, get a good grip, press on it and torque
Doing your job as shoeless..has no price 😆
Hi I've fitted my headlight back in but it's left a bumper gap and I can't seem to get it closed. Any advice from anyone on this? @vitalexplorer
