To change the passcode in a Polaris Slingshot, follow these steps:
Turn on the ignition: Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
Access the Security System Menu:
Navigate to the settings menu on the infotainment screen using the controls on the steering wheel or the touchscreen, if equipped.
Find the "Security" or "Passcode" option in the settings menu.
Enter Current Passcode:
You will need to enter the current passcode to access the passcode settings. If you don't know the current passcode, you may need to contact a Polaris dealer for assistance.
Select Change Passcode:
Once you've entered the current passcode, select the option to change the passcode.
Enter New Passcode:
Follow the on-screen prompts to enter a new passcode. The system may require you to enter the new passcode twice to confirm it.
Save the New Passcode:
Confirm the new passcode and save the changes. The system should notify you that the passcode has been successfully changed.
Turn off the ignition: Turn the key to the "OFF" position and remove it from the ignition.
