For those of you who are new to Kittie I highly recommend you watch their documentary Origins/Evolutions so you can see how long these Canadian women have been rocking. They’ve been through so much over their career. Not to mention the documentary is awesome as hell. For those of us that have known about them just sit back and enjoy that they’re back. These new two tracks have been kick ass but this one takes the cake for me. So so fuckin happy! Rock on ladies.
Yep, it's a fantastic watch and the live tracks with the bonus disc are a great listen too! If the rest of the album is as good as these singles, it could end up being their best album yet. Looking at the viewing figures, I think they're finally going to get the respect they always deserved. The world has just caught up with them.

Been here since Brackish, blowed away all the way up to Until The End album and that album stepped on the throttle for me, everything after that has been pure perfection, the Landers are incredible since day 1, and pushing the envelope every new album!!

Been seeing a lot of comments criticizing the "brainless chugga chugga riffing" and saying Morgan's vocals are ripping off (insert modern female metal band). Obviously one can love or hate the song as they wish, but for context to maybe those listeners unfamiliar with Kittie's discography should understand that so much of this song pays homage to their 2004 album 'Until the End', from the stripped-down power chord riffing in the bridge of "P**** Sugar" to Morgan's cleans on the highly underrated title track where she is essentially hitting the same highs as on this song but due to the weaker production the result didn't sound as grandiose in 2004. "We Are Shadows" is like a modern take on their work from 2 decades ago without sounding completely derivative. The first single "Eyes Wide Open" fits this framework as well but coming from a different angle. I'm not here to convince anyone that Kittie are the most talented band in the universe, but for those in doubt and curious I welcome you to visit the albums 'In the Black' and 'I've Failed You' which showcase another side of the band that perhaps this song is lacking. I think the music on those albums will speak for itself.
I was 34 when these guys hit so my musical taste come from an earlier time and all I have to say is Morgan’s death growl is better than any band I’ve heard, male or female.
I bought the album "Spit" for my daughter when she was 11 years old. All my kids were raised on metal, and that same daughter's twin sons listened to metal before they were even born. One of them does a pretty good metal growl, while the other one is more the melodic type like his father. They are 7 years old.
I've watched this video so many times now. Love this song and so glad that Kittie is back. I remember being 15 and seeing the video for Brackish on MTV and my jaw dropped.
