    Haha, came to this video while working on a track I need to process some vocals for and saw that my comment on your amazing remix made it in haha :D Seriously, I listen to that song ON LOOP -- just showed it off to someone last night in a car even :P Even had to stop and listen to your remix again after this vid before getting back into the DAW lol
    Yet another super helpful video, Ash!

    Recently made my own vocal preset for myself using free plugins but I’ll be adding some of these tips to go along with those! Your video editing has gotten really professional too btw!

    My favorite vocal plugin right now is Vocalsynth 2 - I originally got it because of the creative octave/harmony effect, but there's so much you can do with it, since they included a bunch of random effects that make for some really creative and unique sound design :)

    Stumbled upon your videos this week. Been itching to get back into edm and combine it with my rock/metal music I've been making the last year. You've lit a spark good sir!!!

    Just for fun, how would you build/create a HappyCore or NightCore song and are you familiar with the Core genres?

    Late to the comments here but Sullivan King has a track called Someone Else and I can not for the life of me figure out what is going on with the drop. Rhythmically it is very simple and the lead is very simple too, but the chords are... idek. There are also bass heavy transitions that fill the gaps in the lead rhythm that are just some really intense sound design. Ive made some progress towards making similar sounds by running serum into the plug-ins movement and portal by output. But I mean these things really stand out from those typical melodic dub sounds. If you could give it a listen and see if you can come up with a video for it, I would seriously appreciate it.

    At 7:37 is there a reason why the reverb in the rack is set on 49% instead of 100%? Wouldn‘t it just add more volume instead of adding pure reverb to mix?

    • @ashFB2B
      @ashFB2B  Рік тому +2

      Yeah reverb at 50% would just add volume
      was there i reason i did it? i think i was just turning knobs at that point and it sounded good at 50% so i left it
