First of all I would like to say thank you for your videos because I was going through a depression when I started losing my hair. I tried many hair growth products and they didn't work so I made the decision to go bald. I was getting fades and tapers all the time and I was in complete denial because I thought I could try and get my hair back but it didn't happen. I came across your video and I couldn't be anymore happier with the results of me going bald. I got the products you suggested and so much weight lifted of my shoulders. Thank you so much for the content you create for helping me gain some confidence in myself. God Bless!
I noticed that you didn't go against the grain 👍🏽👍🏽, I use to go against the grain but now that I'm going with the grain for some reason it just feels like a healthier shave for my head, and plus I can stay on top of how clean I shave my head without waiting for going against the grain irritation to clear up 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Great point! I actually do now with the gillette skinguard but had to build myself up to trusting it cuz I was burned in the past...literally lol razor burn!
@@RealMenGetItDone Man i did everything you said to do and it works playboy. Bought the bump patrol, the gell, and the razor. Thanks that bump patrol is serious.
thank you for this i just purchased the fusion 5 this will be my first time shaving my head with a razor your video was exactly what i was looking for to help thanks
Diggin this entire tutorial, I’ve been hesitant to try the razor because of my sensitive skin, but I think this is worth a shot with the products you’ve shown and starting with the grain. Preciate good buddy 👌🏾
@@RealMenGetItDone worked like a charm! What do you use as a daily moisturizer when you get out of bed for your bald head? I wasn’t sure if I should just use a moisturizing lotion or what
@@terrancetaylor2160 find what works, but I actually use the thick beard balm on my beard and just rub the access on my head...its not too greasy and I'm out the door..hope that helps..glad everything is working out!!!
Here is a hint for the closest head shave .Top head shave from front till end of top head. After the back side shave starting from down going up even the sides. After do circle shave all the head .Done closest shave try it .Good luck.
Have you tried using a DE safety razor ? It eliminates razor burn and bumps, cuts stubble much easier, no clogging, and is much cheaper in the long run. DE safety razors are far better than cartridge razors for black men. Give one a try.
Thanks for watching and connecting...now while I love SP for a lot of reasons..the best after shave product I use is BUMP PATROL....it just works the best and I HAVE tried it all, lol...good luck and check back in and let me know how the journey is going!!!💪
yeah the neck is one of those areas...i also cut mine with clipers and then dont shave that. far down to avoid breakout or only go over it 1x and thats it!
Dope tutorial definitely need to get that Gillette sensitive skin stuff tho cause I lowkey fucked the back my neck up last time way too many razor bumps 😂
The aftershave is alcohol based, so I would say YES to answer your question. Here is my amazon store with all my products www.amazon.com/shop/realmengetitdone?ref=ac_inf_tb_vh
A str8 razor is the only razor i haven't tried myself,my skin is always result in the "skin of an avocado" texture when using a proglide 5 blade razor.I don't know what I'm doing wrong
I definitely can't use straight razor due to my sensitive skin....barber gave me full treatment that cost $100 lol...still broke out, my way works best and I dont break out....
With sensitive skin how should i go about it if i just want to use clippers to shave my head? I dont bump up real bad but afterwards it becomes really itchy one hair starts growing back
I have several in my amazon store...www.amazon.com/shop/realmengetitdone the manscape does a really good job not to cut too close....the next one would be my andis....that will get a nice close shave without irritation for the most part.....its just small so takes a little time, but not too bad at all! good luck!👌
I only shave 1x a week, so if your easing into it...I would maybe wet shave 1x and drive shave 1x to make sure you try and avoid the irritations...as you get comfortable and ensure no bumps, then choose wet shave 2x or dry shave 2x...I think mixing it up helps avoid the bumps..just my 2 cents on it fam. Also, here is my affiliate link so you can shop my eyeglass frames,lol...where I get all my glasses💪: bit.ly/3x8ML4C

90 dollars at the barber? In South Africa you pay R50, which is like 3 dollars. It's 5 dollars at high end.
