    I use Super Clean on my car 3- 4 times a week. I wet the whole vehicle, including rims and tires with it, then rinse off with a pressure washer. My car is clean all the time, with very little work. If I'm going to do a hand wash, I do so after the SC application and rinse. In the spring when bug splatter is bad, I use SC almost daily. The clear coat remains pristine because there's very little grit on it to cause scratches.

    I tried apc today for the first time without knowing anything about it. I don’t know how much I diluted it I just eyeballed it but that’s the fastest I’ve ever seen bugs come off of the front of my car. They had been baked on for awhile because the car was at my in-laws for a few weeks and I detailed it today and I was blown away. Even the road grime dissolved in less than 10 seconds

    When I apc rinse a whole vehicle with super clean in a foam cannon I usually use it 1:1 since it’s gonna dilute more with the water coming out werks like a charm but Thnks for the knowledge

    I recently started using APC, had some dirty dirty cars and wondered why, after 6 years I never risked it. Had someone give me a bottle of LA’s apc from dollar tree once and didn’t use it. I hsed some APC from Adams Polishes recently and omg felt so much better while working. Much faster for those dirty dirty cars. Obviously adding on protection afterwards as well which comes out nicely too

    Thank you! I have seen that you can't use super clean because it will eat the clear coat and cause marring and xyz. But I used it on my engine bay and wasn't very careful with it, I even sprayed the painted parts on the bay, with awesome results, so maybe now I will try this method on rocker panels and wheel wells! Thank you very much for this video!

    I live on the countryside so APC is a must for me. Lots of things fall over the paint and APC is the best safe way to remove them. Works great for bugs, fresh tree sap and sure, all kind of road grime. Not sure why most APC are advertised for the interior while it's great on exterior paint.

      No problem brother I hate saying use common sense because sometimes it sounds like you’re saying the person is stupid but I really think it means is is don’t overreact or create an issue. That’s not there. People are so afraid to experiment and I think experimentation is what gets us to the level that we are at. I would experiment in different temperatures in all different types of surfaces and just see what results you get.

      Hey brother, thank you for watching you know it really depends on the weather. If you’re not worried about the APC drying on the vehicle you can go ahead and spray it down first without pre-rinsing but I would only let it dwell for about 30 seconds or so if it’s hot outside, I would definitely prerinse with water.

    Thank you so much about explaining the dilution ratio math! That just made everything so much easier! I previously used a calculator online to get the info but never though much about the math. I love it! Just subscribed!
    If using SuperClean in sprayer/foamer I understand 4:1 is probably best but if I am using a foam cannon for APC rinse using SuperClean, should I go 3:1 since it is going to be diluted further by the water from the foam cannon?

    • @BrotherLead
      @BrotherLead 9 місяців тому +1

      Hope you find this reply but I would recommend figuring out your PIR (Panel impact ratio) if you’re using APC in a foam cannon. This ensures you’re using enough chemical in your foam cannon to ensure you’re getting the results you desire as the water flowing through when in use dilutes it.

    • @StaySlick
      @StaySlick  2 роки тому +1

      The one I’m using is white label meaning it doesn’t have a brand. It was poor foam at best so I did what I always do which is replacing the 1.25mm orifice with a 1.1mm and it got good foam after that. In my opinion it’s not that great. The two best foam cannons for foam are still the mtm pf22.2 and the MJJC foam pro. If it’s being rebranded I’m positive the manufacturer is either doing nothing and just making claims or they’re replacing the orifice with a 1.1 and then installing a filter with foam smashed in the middle of the metal. You can buy these filters on dtlrsupply.com

    Hey brother just a thought people are afraid to use APC because it is so basic PH. superclean has a pH of 13 but if you dilute it at 4:1 that's 20% APC and that brings the PH down to 8.2 in the foam Cannon as it mixes with water .as it shoots out so it's actually neutral pH by the time it comes out of the foam Cannon am I wrong in my thinking

      I always rinse first for a couple reasons:
      1. to knock off any loose dirt That’ll come off with just the water.

I'd considered using an APC (I have a gallon of Mothers APC) at 10:1 to hit my lower panels ,grill, roof racks, badges and window seals before going over with the Citrus foam. Hi, just want to update my experience.
    Meguiars super degreaser from a foam cannon works the best: use it about 10 to 1 ratio, probably a bit stronger, but definitely not 4 to 1, too strong in my opinion.
    Works much better than APC, removes bugs and other grime ect real good.

      @@StaySlick I’m very surprised at the amount of business I’ve been getting in a couple RV parts and truck stops in my area. I can’t leave those places without having people come up and ask if I can clean their rig next. I’ve only been doing this part time for about 5 weeks. Just recently learned about this method and I’m blown away by how much time and effort it is saving me. I was told by one customer that I wasn’t charging enough. I’m confused on what to charge. I have been getting $100 for a wash which was taking me up to 3 hours to finish. After watching several videos like yours I’m wondering how long it should take. Washing is the easy part. Spray waxing and wiping down is what take me so long.

      The idea of an APC rinses to do two things remove what it can and loosen up the rest. So in theory some stuff should come off and whatever doesn’t come off should be loosened up and safely removable with a wash mitt

      I usually start with the p and s three step system ( terminator, carpet bomber, finisher ) if that doesn’t work then a dedicated red stain remover would be next. Also steam is a big help.
