I so very much wish I could share this with my best friend... it's been two years and one day since I found them. Two years two days since they died.
I felt this piece in a way I wouldn't have felt it two years, three days ago. Thank you for being here and holding on tight.
To anyone who needs to hear it, your place in the world is so important. The impact of you not being in the world would be vast. I completely empathise with the pain of it all and I know how hard it can be to stick around. Just know that you're worth giving it one more second, minute, hour... You are seen and you are loved. ❤

I love this poem. It made me smile in bitter recognition of some of the experiences, it made me cry in grief, it held me up and gave me strength. Wow. Wasn't expecting that today, but I needed it. Thank you.
