Hard to say. Typically you'd be fine tapping the quarter note if the setting is on dotted eight. It can make some weird sounds while you're tapping and playing at the same time. But once done it should go back to normal
Man I have overdrive pedals like jhs that sounds really bad when it comes combined... they don’t sound as natural as yours... what pedals do you have here?
I like the JHS pedals a lot. For that particular video it was a combination of the MI Effects Super Crunch Box and a BB Preamp. Might even have had the RC booster in the mix too. These days I'm going all Kemper Profiler and have sold most of my pedals.
THis pedal is nice. But I always see this and the Strymon Big Sky on boards. Personally, there's no need to spend $1000 on 2 effects and a massive pedal board. Plenty of pedals like the carbon copy, Boss Rv3, and TC flashback will get you all the delay and reverb you need for ambient worship.
True but it helps so much to have the presets where you don't have to bend down and twist knobs and flip switches during live play. The options with these Pedals are endless. In my church we have a drummer and me on the guitar. If I drop out a bit to try and tweak settings and adjust my settings then all there is, is a drum. I had a blue sky but the little extra to get the big sky with the presets was night and day in making my life easier
For this video I used a Kemper Profiler on its own with the Timeline put into the Stereo X Loop. Unfortunately I don't remember which exact profile I used for this video. Probably a Michael Britt one.

One of the best product demo's I've ever found anywhere, for any product, ever. Phenomenal job. Praise God, thank you.
Thank you Scott! Glad you liked it.
DUDE?!?!? Excellent demo of this pedal!!!!
Thanks, I'll do a deep dive series soon.
Thank Charl, very informative
Glad it helped!
We would really like to know how you actually save the sound that you just created under your own banks with your own names 👍🏻
Unfortunately I've sold all my pedals and I'm using the Kemper Profiler exclusively these days.
Hey bro what church do you play at. Would love to check out your services :) much love from Canada

Yes I'll agree on that. In fact I've sold all my Strymons and I'm using the Kemper Profiler exclusively now.
Yes
Thanks Charle, What effects and what kind of amp are you using to plug the Strymon into?
