I'm glad to hear something positive about ES s2. The whole fandom has such a negative vibe right now, I understand why, but honestly it's tiring being surrounded by it.
While I gotta agree this ep is weak, but it does set up the inevitable return of Quintessons.
Agreed! I think this Arc is a bit weak compared to Season 1, but it's not HORRIBLE like most of the Fandom is making it out to be. Hope you enjoy the rest of my reviews this summer!
The popsicles are probably shaped like boots because that's what was used as a mold to freeze the cave water.
The segment of Mo and Thrash trying to hide the executioner reminded me of Hogarth hiding the Iron Giant's hand, but not executed as well.
Glad Thrash finally gets more spotlight this go round, but now Nightshade's being sidelined.
What happened to the Sharkticons anyway? We haven't seen them in these 10 episodes at all!
Maybe they went back to their planet? I am slightly disappointed we didn't get to see Blitzwave and Razor fin.
tbh me and my sibling call the lil' quintesson executioner guy "the shedder/shredder" because they look SEMI like the shredder from tmnt.
funny how things end up. i rlly like this episode. but i also a sucker for the "obvious evil guy wants to hurt the hero but the hero is none the wiser" with the comedic flair.

Wait…THE SAME ANIMATION STUDIO THAT MADE TROLL HUNTERS DID SEASON 2 OF EARTHSPARK!? That’s so cool.
Tho, it is sad that the studio that did season one could not return, they did such amazing work. But…it’s understandable why they couldn’t return.
Agreed. I'm sad Icon was so crunched with Season 1.

0:45: Really? I think the weakest episode is Episode 8. 9 and 10 are pretty close though.
I say is kinda like with the spiderverse movie, INGREADIBUL visual ,but at the cost of the animator sanity... and just for spider punk
I mean everyone want a nice looking product but not at expense of other? And what kind new technology there need for this tv show?
Beast wars kinda a excuse been the first but now we have the up date technology that anyone can animate ... but hope there deliver when il more mather, say final act action etc

Why wasn't this Animated by Icon Creative anyway?
I explained it in my video. Icon had a horrible time animating season 1. It was with technology they didn't understand and had to crunch badly. 88 Pictures was better suited for this show.
