Thank you, thank you, thank you. I replaced the batteries in the 2 key fobs for my wife's 2015 mk5 Mondeo estate and since then have had a "key not detected" message every time you start the car. Car still works but annoying that we kept getting this message all the time. I have scoured the manual, and looked at you tube video after you tube video after you tube video and there is nothing that has helped. Until this one. I didn't get the flashing battery icon but the key not detected message has now gone! I'm sure if I had taken it into ford I would have had a £250 bill to supply a new key. So thank you once again, you are a life saver.
Brilliant, this sorted a long running auto stop start problem on my 2018 2.0 TDCi ECOnetic Titanium. It didn't work first time but I think because I have a later car, the battery light is on all the time before it starts to flash after a pause of around 15 seconds so at first I didn't wait for long enough. Before I found this video I was on the verge of taking it to a main dealer where they would have charged me £70 just for fault analysis, so happy days :)
Thanks v much. Worked for me after leaving the car for 3 months and the battery died. Only thing you used to have to worry about on cars was the radio code 😂

Thank you. I did as you suggest and the battery signal flashed 3 times. I then played the radio for a short time and it all seemed good so, fingers crossed as the warning has been coming for a very long time. Thanks again.
Thanks for sharing Tahir! I upgraded the battery in my 2015 Mondeo but the auto start stop wouldn't work until I found your video and performed the necessary BMS Reset. Another problem solved 👍

Just used this guidance to reset the BMS on our 69 plate Galaxy that wouldn’t start stop and constantly told us it was charging / shutting down. The first time I’d tried it I didn’t start the process quickly enough. 2nd time I didn’t wait for sync to boot up etc I just started flashing the lights as soon as I’d turned on the ignition Useful video. Thanks.....Also I have noticed you have a steering wheel cover? so have I because in under 2 years of age my steering wheel started to go manky, but too much hassle trying to get it done under warranty, they just say that you must have had some chemicals on your hands.
@@m.tahiraslam4941 hi, you can search up a tutorial how to clean it. When the wheel is shiny that means it's very dirty, from the oils from your hands it could leave stains. You can remove it with cleaning.

probably there is a problem with the starter motor. i had similar issue with my mondeo. pre-ignition lights would turn on, but car would not try to ignite engine and turn on. i'm not a mechanic though
@@m.tahiraslam4941 Had a new starter motor last year when clutch replaced. It’s a really annoying intermittent fault. I tried your lights flash trick no joy, I eventually left ignition on pressed all pedals a few times and she started. Bloody cars too clever by far. Sadly no one actually knows how to test or test them. Cheers for your reply.

Brother my Audio system is not coming on it comes and then goes off any idea what's the problem might be ?? I have got ford mondeo 2015 manual . And it doesn't have start /Stop button
I'm not an expert or mechanic, i just researched on how to reset the battery. Regarding your audio, does it come on and pay radio etc and then go away? And does the radio not work even with engine on?

i just put on steering wheel cover when I purchased the car 2nd hand. It was like £3 and I prefer to drive with it :)
