Thank you for making this straightforward and simple. I was looking for how to make my coleus bushy, and all videos I started to watch didn't even start to mention in the 1st 5 minutes. I appreciate your video! Thank you!
Really happy to hear video was useful for you🧡🙏🌷. My entire goal is making shorter videos with essential details. So even I'm avoiding any unnecessary intorduction.
Excellent video.............. lots of useful information............. I love coleus, but my mine never get bushy. Now I know why. I'll follow your growing tips and see what happens. THANKS!!!!!
Happy to hear that :) Lovely plants with amazing color and patterns. Please let me know if you have any question about them? Also I will be very happy to hear back from you about your final results :) Thanks again for your comment.
It really depends, if flowering is not heavey and plants is happy and strong you can remove flowers and keep your plant alive for longtime. Also you can take cuts too but if there are many flowers spikes and plant is weaken maybe its late. Its all depend on your plant condition but I have flowering plant which still happy and strong and I got cuts and they are ok.
If you prune the tips will that keep them from getting taller? My coleuses are 6-8 inches tall right now and I want them to get to like a foot tall but also bushy. Thanks
Thanks for your coomment. You right, If you want to make them taller than bushy first you need to prune lower braches and give plant time to grow taller. After that you can start prunning for tips. These will make them taller and bushy like trees. I will make a video by next few days on this topic "how to make coleus like tree or bonsai".
Best season to grow coleus are spring and summer. Sometimes is normal coleus lose leaves but too keep your plants happy check following: 1. Light: coleus needs enough amount of light, put them close to window to get some direct sunlight or at least bight spot. If you don't have natural light, you can use full spectrum LED grow light. 2. Watering, avoid using too much or too low amount of water. Overwatering can kill roots and you can see dying leaves and also you need to water them before they are wilted. 3. If your plant is too big just do some pruning and it will help to recover. If you give me more details maybe I can help with more details. Hopefully you can save your plants and make them happy again 🙂👍🏿👍☘️

Which season is better for coleus growth? All my coleus plants have been damaged. Coleus has lost all its leaves, please give some tips.

I have also planted cuttings of coleus plants but that too is not successful. 😞
Bushy= Start at first nodes
Tall= Higher nodes
I keep pinching the tops, till they get bushy, then I let them do their thing.
Yes thats best way to maks them bushy🙂👍
