That took me awhile to get through. The only thing stuck in my brain right now is that your advanced furnace ate one of your chutes. I believe you should be able to pull the lever on the furnace to get it to spit it out... assuming you have not done that already. Also there was talk about a storm surge sub-station, to some helpful numbers to remember are.. the large wind mill puts out 10Kw and the little ones put out 800w during a storm. The solar panels put out about 500w each in optimal conditions, so normally between 450w - 500w, the Solid Fuel Generator puts out 20Kw. So just group your power sources to the about 90% of the heavy cable and run it to a set of batteries, then use Large Transformers to go from the sub station to the main battery power room. You could zone your base by sub-station, but there will be areas that will always run out of power and others that have plenty, therefore, running it to a central power station for your base will allow you to load balance the power. Finally, just let me know when, and where for the escape room challenge. It sounds like a lot of fun. :)
Awesome, yea I'm going to look for the chute if the furnace jams up, but I will pull the open lever before I start. I was thinking how I was going to separate all the power up and that's pretty much what I was going to go with. When I build the wind farm I was going to use 9 big turbines should prevent any issues. I will be sure to let you know when the escape room challenge is ready 😁.
