Recently he was told it had returned and radiation is what they told him to start. But today his Dr told him there was no concern and no radiation required. Praise the Lord. God healed him🙏🔥
Mawmaw, i lost my husband 2 yrs ago, he was the love of my life since i was 14 and he was 16. We were both from Putnam Co., WV...I love you and you remind me of my mother and what a great cook she was too. Also, if I didn't have Jesus thru this grief, i wouldnt have made it this far. I live near an Amish community and there's a bulk store that sells many delicious baked goods including fried pies. They are delicious. I agree Mamaw, I don't know how people get through this world and the heartache that comes without Jesus by their side carrying them through those difficult times. This is how my mother-in-law done hers, she just fried them in a skillet!!! My husband been begging me for some fried pies like his Momma's. My Brother uses canned biscuits and punches a hole in the middle then fries them and they make wonderful donuts when you hit them with some sugar and cinnamon or you can make a glaze out of powdered sugar and water or milk

I know God is with me and goes b4 me even though at times I feel somewhat overwhelmed , but my home health nurse told me yesterday to give myself some grace because I'm dealing with alot. But we serve a Sovereign God that can handle alot. Would you and paw paw add me to your prayer book. I believe in the power of prayer. I've walked with God since a was a little girl. Truth always prevails. I’d appreciate your prayers for this liver cancer that’s went to stage 4 to my bones. God has healed the tumors in my liver but I still have 3 on my spine that’s stable. I’ve had this cancer for 7 years and God has been with me throughout this entire process and I’m ready to have it completely healed. It has been removed by surgery but it comes back and I’m praying this time it’s gone forever. Thank you for your recipes and love. God bless you and your family.

My mom fried hers in a skillet with only enough shortening to keep them from sticking. She either made her dough or she used Pet brand pre-made pir crusts. She always made her apple filling from the sun-dried apples she cooked down ( or fresh apples that she cooked down ) to make the spiced apple filling. Sometimes she made apple butter and filled them with that.
I make them like my Granny did, with homemade biscuit dough. She made homemade biscuits every day and never bought canned biscuits. She made homemade pie crust and all of her cakes from scratch

I burst into tears for minutes after your verses at the end because I have separated myself from God and church after losing my wife and son some years ago. I've felt hopeless and lost for some years since, but your message reminded me that I've given up on myself, but the Lord hasn't. That's something I needed reminded of, and I can't say enough how much that moved me back into the going back in right direction I've been avoiding.😢...I guess I was meant to make pies tonight lol...God Bless You and thanks!

My mom fried hers in a skillet with only enough shortening to keep them from sticking. She either made her dough or she used Pet brand pre-made pir crusts. She always made her apple filling from the sun-dried apples she cooked down ( or fresh apples that she cooked down ) to make the spiced apple filling. Sometimes she made apple butter and filled them with that.
I make them like my Granny did, with homemade biscuit dough. She made homemade biscuits every day and never bought canned biscuits. She made homemade pie crust and all of her cakes from scratch
