GUYS there’s a hidden tree I found somewhere at the very bottom right of the kinglor forest. Fly along the bottom of the kinglor forest from right to left (practically hugging the bottom border) until you find a group of mountains that resemble pillars. You should find an ikran gear basket on one of them. On that same pillar you will see a tree by the name of “pale leaf tree” or something like that. It looks just like any other tree you use to craft longbows with, but it can only be found at that one spot. I don’t know what I’m actually supposed to do with the branches or if it’s worth finding, but I just wanted to put that out there. Happy hunting.

@@stateofmind578its the highest damage root but tbh i prefer the perk from the clouded forest root (Ragtrunk Root) because it gives your heavy bow Quick Draw (20% draw speed). I find the perk that the pale root gives not anywhere as useful and when I crafted my bow I went for quickdraw and honestly once you have the last Maker Apex perk, the damage from crafted weapons is wayyyy to strong as long as you use the best quality material and you can easily take the "hit" from not using the pale root here in order to get quickdraw. Easy tradeoff imo

There is a dish you can unlock that makes it so you get max stats regarless of weather. It is found by interacting with the donation basket in a camp north east of the marshy area in the south east of kinglor
What is the recipe called?
@@williamdixon2315 well, as i said, it is in the marsh south east of kinglor. Within that area, the camp it is north east right next to an rda base with pollution next to it but not affecting the camp so you can just go there, interact with the basket and you have the recipe.

nope found it. Head to Wetwood Nest in Kinglor Forest the dish you are looking for is Relun Fish stew. you will need Mudcrawler Fish superior quality and Crimson Mushroom superior quality.

Wow thanks dude. So glad I found this video. Went to the area. Found it and said HURRICANE, even though it was just raining with a few lighning strikes. Hadn't taken out the near by facility but am far in the game right before last main quest. Thanks boss

Omg,I was so lucky to just arrive there when the heavy rain turned into a thunderstorm!! Got 5 exquisute pale reeds,panicked and killed the Non Feral with a shotgun so I ruined it but hope I can find another one. Thank you so much for this video!!

as for heavy bows, I dunno if you can craft any higher then 384 damage (so'lek survivor heavy bow). if anyone does craft better, pls let me know of the mats. ty
I have a bug, when I want to craft the bow, the root is greyed out and I cant those it

It sux that the best ingredients give horrible bonuses. The rag trunk root with the 20% draw is an amazing Stat, that should have been on the pale canopy root. The best bow with best stats has horrible bonuses. Do you think the loss of damage is worth it to gain the draw bonus with rag trunk?
Does your heavy bow reticle focus smaller on PC over Xbox? My reticle stayed the same size.
You have to press the left trigger down to make the circle smaller and the right trigger to charge the arrow. Works the same way with the long bow as well.
seems like you can get exquisite stuff without both reqd conditions !! i had that happen to me too !!!!!
You dont have spore root and i dont have the trunk root so theres a total of at least 5 roots not just 3.
The spore root can ve found in caves near blood urchins and has a high exquisite counter of 160-175 (with buffs activated mind you) that wont be the end result i have found.
But it has "focused draw" it doubles the heavy bow exhaustion timer. Just in case anyone else was wondering.
Im still going for the ragtrunk root, as pulling back on the heavy bow does tend to take quite a bit of time, but that doesnt mean you cant try them both out.
I found a pale root in kinglor forest under a tree in the shadow hollows, there is 3 of them you can gather. They give the same stats as the spore roots however I have seen them go up to over 200.
Aside from the bug of getting stuck in the ground, from coming down from a tree, does anybody else experience this bow weapon issue below described?
It doesn't happen when I start playing the game initially, but if I have to go out to the main menu and come back, sometimes I cannot launch my bow for some reason. It does display in my inventory but I can't use it despite selecting the Y button on my controller.
That's because you need to go to your weapon wheel. It will remove a weapon if you go to the menu , not a bug, hope this helps :)
You actually don’t need to be in the clouded forest place to get the bow design. You can just talk to So’Lek and get the exquisite bow design.
For the root I have a Spore root and it's 120 stats ( random gift) and has focused draw on it. Better than ragtrunk
I got it to 317 with the special food (I watched your other video )
I have a quick question.
Where do you find or get a 189 damage heavy bow.. Is it during a quest or RDA Outpost..
My mate told me he got one but came remember where he got it 😂

You get it as reward from the level 20 rda base in stoneblade ridge

@@GarrettSizemoreyou need master crafter. Then when gathering all the materials for it, make sure you have gathering 3 food buff on which gives 20% more stats to each thing you gather
@@GarrettSizemore the highest damage i seen is 384 damage (pale canopy root, pale cannon reed, Stormglider horn(clean kill) +master craft) also used nimble gather III food buff.
I got my bow at 240 by eating some special foods before picking plants

None of those designs are available for me and I don't know how to unlock them.
I'm sure you found out by now, but these are end game materials and designs. You must get to the clouded forest, so you must proceed the main story until you get to the new HQ in the clouded forest, after that, talk with So'lek.
My shortbow does 178 damage, heavy bow does 265 damage, spear thrower does 392 damage and my shotgun does 280 damage. All my clothes are between 280 and 330 health each

So'lek has NO new Blueprints for me....First you should explain, WHEN you get new Blueprints, cause i allready bought all available

You probably skipped parts of the video - first get to the Clouded Forest :P
I got the blue print and I haven't made it to the clouded forest must be the level in level 15
I think the blueprint rarity is tied to your current level. I'm still at level 9 and the only bow blueprint I can get from So'lek is a superior quality that tops out at level 166. I'll go back after I reach a few more levels and check to see if he offers me the exquisite bow.
This one is from the final camp, not the first one. There the blueprint will be different

You need to eat food before you gather for a better boost. My heavy bow is 305, also didn't make that bow. blackwind is better.
Where do you get the crafting spec for it? Also what horn and materials did you choose no matter how clean a kill I get it’s never the best stats for the horn but for gathering I use the 15% buff as well

Don't remember where I got the spec. Honestly wasn't paying that much attention.
Blackwind is only better cuz it has a stealth bonus and fire arrows, not a huge difference.
@@leocreuu3254 also how you get the horn with the extra stats, you have to fly above him and get a perfect shot. He doesn't look up, haven't done it yet but only way to sneak up on it
Black wind comes from a mission from the plains. I picked up the mission from a random plains Navi who found me asking me to check out a camp that was deserted. Follow that mission until you have to kill the storm glider

The bow in this video is nowhere near the best you can get. I crafted a 281 damage heavy bow and mine isn't even the best that can be made.
So what's the best bow then? and what heavy bow did you craft?
