Hm Soleks is not the best Bow as of July 2024 I can craft a Liberator Heavy Bow that is of Exquisite Quality. I’m not sure if this is a common blueprint or not. It Requires Root Bast and Reed
Tip for endless Pale Fire seeds. Find Exquisite Fire seeds under Celebration Arches in Upper Plains, shoot with an arrow so they catch fire. Use shotgun with Storm Ammo to shoot the seed and it will become Pale without needing lightning.
Everyone talks about RNG with item creation but I have not experienced it, seems to me to just be a straight formula based on item values. 384 every time if you use the right quality stuff. I know you got a 374 other day but that was cus a less than perfect horn was used. I think you've got the best available there. The value ranges are just a guide based on using the min/max qualities available game-wide. I think the bug showing the massive creating values is based off having an active food buff interfering with it. When I craft with no food buffs (just the apex skill) it shows me the accurate final number in the craft window. I know a lot of people are confused by this and annoyed but I don't think there is actually any luck involved with the crafting formula, nobody is actually getting screwed. Did y’all know there’s a green thanator in the game? Without too many spoilers, there’s a sarentu totem at the bottom right of the kinglor forest that you need to observe. After that, this secret thanator will be added to your hunter guide. EDIT: it matters how many Sarentu totems you finish, not any specific one. There are UA-cam videos that show the location of all four thanator types so I would watch those as opposed to following my comment.

Oh man you missed the easiest storm glider spawn point in the game. Right above the Vale of Echos is an RDA base the Ariel Defence Station that once taken down you can fast travel to. Immediately run forward off the rock and turn around to look up. One will land perfectly on the rock you fast traveled to for you to look up and shoot it right in the sweet spot.
@@harrison0550 same thing happens to me, so to avoid one stuck in the rock, I port to the nears spot and fly to that loc so I can kill both with out one being stuck :)
Best video on FOP. I got the game for free with a new card, started to play without much knowledge of it. Liked the game, but somethings are just confusing and not a lot of explanations around. I know I'm 5 months late but you're doing something wrong The "bug" that you mention about not fulfilling the gathering requirements is because you have the "Forager" effect, and not the "Adept Forager" Effect which Always gain you the gathering condition.- and for you who's reading, what you really should be making is Relun's fish stew by using an exquisite (or superior) mudcrawler as the primary ingredient (you can buy from the Aranhe hometree cook) and use a exquisite (or superior) Crimson Mushroom as the secondary. And don't worry! You can easily override the stealth effect of the fish stew with your nimble gatherer dish! And keep the adept forager one, making you gain the maximum stats on your items!
as for the horns. there are more locations to farm the stormglider for horns. the upper Plains has 5 location to spawn stormgliders and clouded forest has 3 locations but one location spawning 2 stormgliders at the same time.
I think you have confused "forager" and "Adept Forager" food perks. Forager = always get perfect gathering vs Adept Forager = always gain the Gathering condition bonus. Relun’s Fish Stew gives you the Adept Forager perk
HOLY SHIT I ACTUALLY ONE SHOTTED THE STORM GLIDER WITH THE FIRST ARROW WTF!!! Okay, whew. Brother, thank you so much for this guide. Earned a sub and if I need more tips for either this or another game, I'll look it up here first. Using the first two dishes, I basically got the best maximum values for every single item. I didn't even change to the Fury food because when inspecting in the Hunter's Guide, it was showing me much bigger numbers than that '56'. It was basically showing over 100 - which I didn't get, I got 77 I believe. Nonetheless the bow has 388 and it absolutely slaps.
There’s a 4th storm glider on top of the great husk south east of the Zeswa Clan Home and a tiny bit north of the great husk is a nat’vi camp so you can spawn right next to it!
just got this the other day and im loving it. trying to not look up guides to often but knowing that i can eat two different foods and replace the second stat of the first food with the first stat of the second food for two great stat proc.. isn't cheating lol imo it's general knowledge that I'd have found out eventually but atm im just enjoying the game. it has it's issues and i am curious to see what the next major patch will bring but atm it's really enjoyable.
So to make the bow you need the bow? It seems like to make this awesome high damage bow you need to be able to one-shot a Stormglider, which requires a high-damage bow? I can get the Fury III 50% boost, no problem, but how high does the bow damage need to be to be able to one-shot a stormglider? My current highest isn't even close to your 300 (it's 161). I'm wondering if I need to go make a heavy bow doing everything else in the video but this step to make the strongest bow I can WITHOUT this best horn, to see if I can make a bow that hits hard enough to one shot the stormglider.
I though that dish just meant you get a perfect gather no matter how you pull the thing off are u sure it means the conditions and all that I’m skeptical

73 is the highest I have been able to get on a Stormglider Horn. Nimble Gather does affect it but I think it’s randomized between 73-107 Regardless, 56 is NOT the max. My bow came out at 388. Will post again if I manage to get over 73 on the horn.
Does the master craft skill effect these stats? almost got enough skills just wondering if its worth the skill points or if i can just go straight to gathering and crafting with the dishes youve guided in the past?
The Liberator Heavy Bow hits harder based on the bonuses… 381 DAMAGE 10% Damage 15% Wildlife damage 10% Stealth damage It’s definitely better for hunting… if you wanted one for RDA combat you would make a solek with the fast draw root imo

When you reach this kind of damage levels you oneshot literally every animal in the game if you aim for their weakspot. So it doesn't really matter tbh.
I did have a hurricane in the upper plains went to fast travel to another region and it was gone. So it only happens in upper plains I what I'm guessing.
The hurricane can happen in any of the three regions. If you pass time to make it rain heavy in the kinglor forest, it won’t happen in the upper plains or clouded forest. Also, the hurricane cannot me forced. The best way to make a hurricane is to pass time until you get a thunderstorm and hope that it changes to a hurricane.
I did exactly what this UA-camr did and all ways and forms. But my pale canopy root is max out at 140 something. How did you manage to make it show up at 207?

there's a fourth storm glider on the far east of the planes just east of stone blossom. as for crafting the bow, I didn't have the pale items you did but I had all top tear times and the total score it sad I would get was OVER the 222 it's got listed... but when I crafted the bow I only got 204... it has to be the Master Craft skill, it must be bugged or something.
I’m confused when gathering I got a pale canyon reed with 97, a pale canyon root with 189, and a storm glider horn with 67 but my overall bow strength even with the Apex master crafter skill was only 353

They nerfed it. I have the best items for all 3: Pale Canopy Root: 159 Pale Canyon Reed: 81 Stormglider Horn: 56 Total Result on screen: 384 And I do have all the skill tree unlocked and all the Apex Challenges completed. *Edit* You didn't mention (or maybe I missed it) but after eating the food to give Fury III to kill the Stormglider, you need to eat the Novao's Mushroom Pie and Egg Stir-Fry again to get the crafting bonus boost. On screen the total damage shows 514 but the actual result is 384. Actually the total damage is the same regardless if I eat the food bonus now that I think about it. It's just the total damage shown on screen is fake, but the actual total damage is the same. Thank you for the guide.
Does anyone else have an issue with purchasing blade wings from Kukulope at the kinglor home tree? I have more than enough satare beads to buy them, but whenever I hold X to get one, it doesn’t give it to me. It’s been happening for a couple days now and I have no idea what the issue is. I am playing on Xbox.. I followed the instructions step by step crafting the soup and the egg stir fry lvl 3, ate soup first then stir fry and had forager and nimble gatherer 3 active. Ignoring weather conditions due to forager perk I got a 174dmg Ragtrunk Root + 105dmg pale canyon reed + perfect stormglider horn at 72dmg, I have the Apex memory Master Crafter done and after crafting, the bow only went up to 352dmg. I dont know if on Xbox it is different, or I am missing something here?
@04AM sorry I keep commenting on the same video over and over but I have a problem when crafting a bow, I just posted a 45 second clip of it to show you but I have absolute max rolls for all items I’m making here and it says it’s going to be over 500 damage but than gives me a heavy bow that does 384? Please help. Also I do have the the apex challenge for the maker complete
its a bug, if its your first time crafting at that value, it will show a value really high compared to the finish craft. but if you were to pretend to craft a second bow with the same mats, it will actually show the really values, same value of your current bow. its the same for armor also
@@wenpatxczcvzcsfc well in the video here he got 500 damage heavy bow and I used same maxed roll mats with the maker final skill to give bonus stats to crafted gear and it gave me 384 which was only 40 more than what I already had and I tried doing it twice and gave same results every time
@@ShrekTickler yah I got the same value when crafting my bow for the first time. 500 but it turn out to be 384. though I did try to craft a second bow , the same type and mats and that bow's valued showed 384 before crafting this time. so it might be a bug when you craft at a new value?

I followed all these Steps and its only showing 388 for me, what i don't understand is how he picks a root that says 159 and all of sudden it shows 271? Am i doing something wrong?
I've noticed when the stats are super high it does drop a bit when you craft them. My clothes are between 380 to 430 and my health just from my clothing is 3000 with 45% health regeneration on kill. My shortbow does 225 damage, longbow is 265, spearthrower is 445 and my heavy bow is 385. How do you join the discord as be nice to play with people and help people out
@kal_9032 Got the max then on mine. I'm pretty sure it's 385 but might be 384. I do know my weapons and armor is high as spent ages getting the perfect gear and getting the stat bonuses

don't know what has changed recently. there MUST be a rng factor. i had a non perfect collection of a pale root and got an exquisite from it. however a perfect collection of same root gave me a superior root. this has happened a few times now. This is now becoming a chore now, and i want to get some fresh air and live a life. Found that a less than maxed out weapon will still get you through the game easily !!!
Ive scoured these comments and it doesnt get asked so i must wrong in this but i thought there were two gathering bonus meal perks. One thst goves always pristine gathers and one that always gives the gathering condition bonus. I forgot what the name of that meal perk is but its the speciality dish with mudcrawler and something else. Damn memory. I tried to make it but the fish was jot where the game said so said fook it. But yeah, dont know what "a perfect gather" means. Like does it apply both bonuses?
Could be that he has a higher combat level than you :) Also, I believe that there is a skill in maker-tree that makes you harvest higher level items. (I could be wrong though)
How do you guys get these high level finds all I can harvest is like 60-80 at the highest on Exquisite can someone explain to me and I am level 20 and beat the game.

I want to get the best spear and it’s bone is extremely good and I was able to get my spear to 409 but I didn’t get a clean kill so the bone wasn’t max role and i dont know where to find another one other than the pale reed location
clouded forest, cradling pines region. east of sheltering pines village. run east from the village, cross the carver's river , from the river keep running east until you run into a budding watcher. budding watcher is the loc where the white moss forest thanator is at.
@@ShrekTickler from what i seen yes that's the only white moss thanator that I know of. 2 types of thanator from clouded forest and 2 more types from kinglor forest
@@ShrekTickler every type has a different stat for tooth and hides but as for bones , only the white moss thanator drops it and that stat is fixed sadly :(

for some reason, it may be a bug, the values of items are different upon gathering than compared to the tooltip even fully buffed with nimble gather III..
Is Relun’s Fish Stew + any food with Nimble Gatherer 3. Relun’s is for weather condition ie: Hurricane Navao’s is for bypassing the gathering mini-game, allowing you to pull in any direction and still maintain a prestine harvest.
Actually max stats don’t matter, bonuses do. Just did this and my 240 damage bow is still better. Ragtrunk root, Pale canyon reed, bone helm rhino horn. Do that with the max out food

Honestly crafting feels a bit exhausting in this game with the food buffs needed to get the best possible, so you have to go hunt the best possible of something else just to have a chance at this >_< And then the clean kill on a stormglider. How much of a downgrade is it to not clean kill them
Not that much tbh, so thats why I say you don't REALLY need it. It is just for those 'extremists' out there just like me who like to have everything perfect quality xD
Too bad that Ubisoft decreased the power of the roots and other materials for crafting. But like I always say, people are bad at making games good. Now I only have a 267 damage heavy bow 😌

do you have a video explaining the roll's of the stats? I got master craftier and now everything seems to be low balling me.
My nimble gatherer doesn't go to a 3 when I eat the egg stir fry in addition to the navao mushroom pie
You have to make sure your stir fry is 20% core stats and that you eat the pie first and the stir fry after

Does anyone else have an issue with purchasing blade wings from Kukulope at the kinglor home tree? I have more than enough satare beads to buy them, but whenever I hold X to get one, it doesn’t give it to me. It’s been happening for a couple days now and I have no idea what the issue is. I am playing on Xbox.. I followed the instructions step by step crafting the soup and the egg stir fry lvl 3, ate soup first then stir fry and had forager and nimble gatherer 3 active. Ignoring weather conditions due to forager perk I got a 174dmg Ragtrunk Root + 105dmg pale canyon reed + perfect stormglider horn at 72dmg, I have the Apex memory Master Crafter done and after crafting, the bow only went up to 352dmg.
I dont know if on Xbox it is different, or I am missing something here?
Before crafting or getting the materials should I have all level 12 for the apex memory first?

@04AM sorry I keep commenting on the same video over and over but I have a problem when crafting a bow, I just posted a 45 second clip of it to show you but I have absolute max rolls for all items I’m making here and it says it’s going to be over 500 damage but than gives me a heavy bow that does 384? Please help. Also I do have the the apex challenge for the maker complete
its a bug, if its your first time crafting at that value, it will show a value really high compared to the finish craft. but if you were to pretend to craft a second bow with the same mats, it will actually show the really values, same value of your current bow. its the same for armor also
@@wenpatxczcvzcsfc well in the video here he got 500 damage heavy bow and I used same maxed roll mats with the maker final skill to give bonus stats to crafted gear and it gave me 384 which was only 40 more than what I already had and I tried doing it twice and gave same results every time
@@ShrekTickler yah I got the same value when crafting my bow for the first time. 500 but it turn out to be 384. though I did try to craft a second bow , the same type and mats and that bow's valued showed 384 before crafting this time. so it might be a bug when you craft at a new value?

I've noticed when the stats are super high it does drop a bit when you craft them. My clothes are between 380 to 430 and my health just from my clothing is 3000 with 45% health regeneration on kill. My shortbow does 225 damage, longbow is 265, spearthrower is 445 and my heavy bow is 385. How do you join the discord as be nice to play with people and help people out

@kal_9032 Got the max then on mine. I'm pretty sure it's 385 but might be 384. I do know my weapons and armor is high as spent ages getting the perfect gear and getting the stat bonuses

don't know what has changed recently. there MUST be a rng factor. i had a non perfect collection of a pale root and got an exquisite from it. however a perfect collection of same root gave me a superior root. this has happened a few times now. This is now becoming a chore now, and i want to get some fresh air and live a life. Found that a less than maxed out weapon will still get you through the game easily !!!
Ive scoured these comments and it doesnt get asked so i must wrong in this but i thought there were two gathering bonus meal perks. One thst goves always pristine gathers and one that always gives the gathering condition bonus. I forgot what the name of that meal perk is but its the speciality dish with mudcrawler and something else. Damn memory. I tried to make it but the fish was jot where the game said so said fook it. But yeah, dont know what "a perfect gather" means. Like does it apply both bonuses?

Also, I believe that there is a skill in maker-tree that makes you harvest higher level items. (I could be wrong though)

I want to get the best spear and it’s bone is extremely good and I was able to get my spear to 409 but I didn’t get a clean kill so the bone wasn’t max role and i dont know where to find another one other than the pale reed location
clouded forest, cradling pines region. east of sheltering pines village. run east from the village, cross the carver's river , from the river keep running east until you run into a budding watcher. budding watcher is the loc where the white moss forest thanator is at.

@@ShrekTickler from what i seen yes that's the only white moss thanator that I know of. 2 types of thanator from clouded forest and 2 more types from kinglor forest

@@ShrekTickler every type has a different stat for tooth and hides but as for bones , only the white moss thanator drops it and that stat is fixed sadly :(

for some reason, it may be a bug, the values of items are different upon gathering than compared to the tooltip even fully buffed with nimble gather III..
So my pale canopy max stat in 110 and then increases to 143 after the dishes....

Is Relun’s Fish Stew + any food with Nimble Gatherer 3.
Relun’s is for weather condition ie: Hurricane
Navao’s is for bypassing the gathering mini-game, allowing you to pull in any direction and still maintain a prestine harvest.
As level 20 with full crafter max gear, I'm able to one shot Stormglider with 225 dmg Shortbow without any food buff, hardest difficulty
Actually max stats don’t matter, bonuses do. Just did this and my 240 damage bow is still better. Ragtrunk root, Pale canyon reed, bone helm rhino horn. Do that with the max out food

The max stat for the roots is 124 not 140

The reed can only be found in that area so its normal you dont yet have access to it ^^

Honestly crafting feels a bit exhausting in this game with the food buffs needed to get the best possible, so you have to go hunt the best possible of something else just to have a chance at this >_< And then the clean kill on a stormglider. How much of a downgrade is it to not clean kill them
Not that much tbh, so thats why I say you don't REALLY need it. It is just for those 'extremists' out there just like me who like to have everything perfect quality xD
Too bad that Ubisoft decreased the power of the roots and other materials for crafting. But like I always say, people are bad at making games good. Now I only have a 267 damage heavy bow 😌
