I got to get my Gladiator Gladius even for $99 from @Anomaly and no stone wash in micarta. Wood is not my bag in folders. Got 2 cheap bökers Magnum with nice leather sheath for $38 they are nicer than a Mora Garber to me. BladeHq has these selling on A? Why?
OK, I got my Boker Pocket Smatchet! As for a collectible and cool factor, it’s off the charts. The only negative I have is how small the liner lock is. If you were, for instance, stab a pig, bear, etc, it might collapse and cut you. Make sure you stab at an angle to avoid this by going in between the ribs if necessary.
Kudos for the discipline. It is extremely difficult to lose weight. Extremely! You're still one of the best knife reviewers. Top three at least. This knife would be great paired with the full sized Smatchet.

Wow, that is great footage! My local shop has it so I am going to go get one. That is a great recommendation. Somehow reminded me of the Ontario Afghan if that could be folded up and kept in a pocket. Definitely good when a fixed option is not possible. Thank you!

Not 💯 positive but I think John EK African brush knife was the origin of Smatchet in its original form you can check it out.

Since you are on a fitness journey yourself. I thought ide share my progress.
Since roughly 5 year's ago. I wore a size 54 (around 380 pounds) pants and as of today December 29th 2021.
I wear a size 36. I just started eating more healthy and being more active. Eating actual food mainly instead of garbage. Fruits and veggies and more meat cheese sorta keto but I really didn't do much besides don't eat like you are starving all the time and drinking distilled water/spring water flipping between one gallon at a time
Also it's very important to just go with it like right now I have to buy all new clothes.
I'm 40 years old 6'2" 185 pounds. It's all possible thank you for sharing your journey..
And if anyone thinks it's not possible just do what works for you get active is the main thing once your weight plateau's. You will use as many calories as you consume.
Also if you are over 250 or more you are in insulin resistance and you've got to get under 250 or weight loss is going to be very difficult. The most noticeable has been about 2 years I've went from 46 to 36. Disclaimer because people are not intelligent.. I am not a health care provider do not take anything I said as medical advice and I am not responsible in any way for any self injury you bring upon yourself....

Awesome progress, congrats on taking back control of your life and health! Lockdowns have destroyed many of our population's last shreds of mental, physical, and financial health. Most people's biggest danger is themselves. Self defense is important, but it needs to include people defending themselves from their impulses, temptation, and self destructive behavior. I've also been sober 14 years In April. And at 19 I drowned and had to re-learn everything like a baby all adult functioning was stripped away. And as a result of that and not knowing what was wrong I turned to drugs out of general hopelessness.
I didn't even find out until about 9 years ago I had brain damage. It's been a hell of a ride. And it this point I cannot find any reason to give up yet... This plandemic is completely insane. I believe it's a virus but the agents of death and mind control will not miss a opertunity to run PSY-OPS.... Edit I'm in a state that didn't do lockdowns youde never know anything changed.. I'm vaccinated but I will not be getting any more shots I don't believe their lies you need like 12 to keep living..and the only reason I took it all is people close to me are immunocompromised..

Simplicity works the best for a weapon. There is a lot of stuff that forces your grip to edge out orientation. I really like the neutral handle. Also notice the possibility of two hand opening which is a very fast and reliable opening method if you do with intention.
how did you get this on sale?
I like the black blade/OD green handle one, but not for a Hunj....reminds me of a Cold Steel Immortal. Would prolly go with that instead, for the price.
Blade HQ has them on sale now for $70. ($80 with shipping n tax).
Boker got more interesting again in the last couple months. Really good review, wish it was a little bit lighter.

Looks nice. But, indeed, the liner looks too weak for such a powerful blade. A framelock would be better.

Hey man. How has the edge retention been on this knife? It looks great, but I don't trust liner locks from my own experiences. Also, that's some very early lockup on that knife. Not good.

Yeah, for fighting folders a Tri-Ad lock would be better. The edge retention has been good so far, I think it will only need 1 minute touch ups with a the Spyderco Sharpmaker once in a while to keep it very sharp.

Those laws will eventually come here, it is part of a historical cycle. But I think the restrictive laws will get reset after a period of collapse and possible wars/riots/revolutions/civil wars.
