Had a graduating class of 56 people…3 of us were born on 5/27, and 3 dudes were born on 4/28. Wild
Graduating class of 56 is crazy to me! Like 900 people in my graduating class
@@Calzonedrone196 in all four grades of HS my graduating year 😂
Had 40 in my graduating class
& we were considered a big class
So good to have the boys together again!!!!
The math works because the number of pairs grows exponentially with the more people there is in a group. 2 people only have one possible birthday pair, but 4 people have 6 and 10 people have 45 possible pairs
The basketball jones was the first ever podcast I listened to on my iPod touch 2nd Gen lmao
The only acceptable way to drink Bud Light is whilst wearing a beret and with 2 hands
* 0 trades between
* Indiana Pacers Orlando Magic
* Indiana Pacers Memphis Grizzlies
* Denver Nuggets New Orleans Pelicans
* Los Angeles Clippers San Antonio Spurs
* Toronto Raptors and Charlotte Hornets
* Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards
I love you guys can we hang soon
That dude transforming into Caitlyn Clark got me lol
Tas always showing his Raptors bias even when the players not on the team. "OGs getting better at staying healthy." What???😂😂😂
He knows!
i think edey is gonna look awesome in memphis - specifically paired with JJJ. JJJ will be all over the court - he’s gonna be ed reed on defense when edey is on the floor
Pistons building a team of non shooters is the funniest thing we've seen in the nba in a while 😂😂😂
Great episode as always, upset that I may not be able to make it to the live show and wanted to share that my three best friends and I all have birthdays 😮🎉
Ya love to see tas in a backwards cap. Eat your heart out jj
As a Wolves fan, I was expecting a quiet night, but nope. The wolves traded a 6th grader and the rights to swap 7th graders for Rob Dillingham.
It may be a weak draft, but I do like the aggressiveness from the wolves cause I think the floor for Dillingham is A Lou Williams type player and the ceiling is a Darius Garland type player. Then they drafted TSJ who is a plug and play player.
I was really high on Terrance Shannon Jr. Minnesota should be excited to have him. He'll be a great scorer. Even though his shot looks rough!
I don't think Houston is trading Brooklyn's pick for Phoenix's pick straight up. I believe they also are getting an extra 1st and an extra swap which makes more sense.
I’m surprised yall hadn’t heard of the shared birthday thing. I had a science teacher who did this at the start of each semester and it worked every time
i thjnk Zacch will fit wel in atlanta. i think the hawks drafted him to be trae’s klay thompson. deadly spot up shooter, can attack closeouts, guard multiple positions, and smart decisions with the ball. his gravity will open up so much space for trae and JJ. trae has a historically high usage % so self creation isnt a huge deal imo
I'm not sure the people complaining about the Bridges' trade watch or remember basketball games because it wasn't that long ago that he was part of a Suns team in the NBA finals. And since removing him from the Suns, they haven't fared better in the post-season, and with the "stars" they have at the prices they're paying I fail to see the upgrade. Sometimes it's fit and chemistry over individual scoring ability. Sometimes it's defense over dribble moves. This was a (shockingly) smart move by the Knicks to fortify their team chemistry and add one of the league's better wing defenders. That he didn't perform at a superstar level on the randomized 2k card pack of a team that was the Brooklyn Nets isn't something that you can hold against Bridges. He was playing for nothing. Now he's playing for something with his boys. It's the right now at the right time. A healthy Knicks team can beat anyone in the East. Not sure they can beat a retooled Denver team or an ascendant Timberwolves team. Like if KAT ever learns how to play the game of basketball the West is in trouble.
Couldn't agree more. Or an even better okc team.
mccain’s has a plant in my hometown in maine. maybe your beloved fries aren’t too canadian at all. But northern maine is basically canada anyways so who cares
Love the Edey takes fellas! I appreciate you guys talking about my Grizzlies!!

46:19 i don’t think bridges is an overpay. the new cba is coming in so they’re locking in a super role player. plus, they still have a pick in every year they traded a pick in. OKC is gonna do the same thing for someone who probably hasnt been an all star and i feel like the discussion will be the exact opposite
This is true, but Bridges (and Brunson) will be in need of a new contract in two years. By then it could cost them 150-160 million for Brunson and two guys that aren't All-Stars. That'd be tough to stomach. In addition, it's completely possible OG's health leaves zero market to unload his contract (especially with lack of picks). That's all a bit in the future, and teams get creative to get out of deals, but it's still a bit scary.
Mikal seems like a perfect fit for now though!
I hope an unexpected team would draft Bronny James just to troll the Lakers.
each month has at the most 28 days the same days. 50% of that is 14. half of the other 50% left is 7. so that makes 21 people that could possibly have the same birthday. to account for the other 3 days, 29-31 of the month and taking into account leap year, they increased it to 23 people minimum in the same room to have the same birthday.
Greg Stiemsma! 😉
38:30 I’m actually on the floor
Not even mentioning Indiana in the Eastern Conference race feels a bit disrespectful. They weren't healthy either (Haliburton and Mathurin). Super young team, that theoretically could keep making marginal improvements organically.
They're in the mix for Top 4.
I'm pretty sure mine is close to TK's but not quite. 2/26!
McCain deep n delicious is the sh*t
I brought one to a Stanley Cup game 7 watch party and it was demolished
Great call. The chocolate is so damn good.
I trust that the math professor had it right but theoretically it would seem like you would need to have about 180 guys to have a 50% chance. Now that I think about it that's probably not right. Math is hard.😊
Bam 55.5 mil a season 🤯 these contacts are out of hand tbh
Dec 7
Wizards are absolutely not a win. Avdija was on a great contract and looked awesome last 2 months! 6’9” 215 and at 22/23 season averaged 19, 9, 4 Feb March April on 60 TS%! 28 game sample size! Them trading him made zero sense considering they didn’t get a lot back then they selected Bub at 14 & George at 24 with better options on the board!
Holland was not surprise he was top1-12 on virtually every big board and in G-league at 18 average 20, 5, 3 and 2 steals. Bad efficiency and TO%, but in a bad draft he was def a top3-5 upside ceiling pick.
It’s also hard to give any team the benefit of the doubt when they haven’t won 50 or more games in a season since the 70s!😅
I loved okc picks. Topic and dillon are a homeless man sga and j dub. A couple of years from now poors man sga and dub
24.11. here 😁

Another Great One Fellas😂😂😂 #NoDunks
Feels like the NBA should pre-record the draft for TV. It's just so boring filling in all of the blank space in the event.
Agreed- only thing is the picks would likely get leaked 24hours before TV and viewership would be down. Shams and Woj can’t help themselves
@@dirkvanzyl8807 I thought the same thing. Shams already leaks the picks right before they happen. Would get messy and would make the event worthless.
taking the Edey pill is hilarious! 🍆
Now I have to google the boring jerseys since you faked out JD and talked about them anyway. Bad Skeetsy.

22:40 Steven Adams has ZERO skills offensively yet he started alongside Ja, Bane, and Jaren and the Grizzlies were the 2 seed. Big Edey has a lot more offensive skills than Adams so of course he's gonna start at the 5 for the Grizzlies. Brandon Clarke is the backup 5 for the Grizzlies and is the perfect change of pace compared to Big E.
i was born on 04/04/2004
10/2 Birthday anyone?
when is your birthday?
12/10
If the Nets are doing a tear down then why did they resign claxton? He was one of the most desired guys in free agency and I'm guessing they would have gotten at least one first round pick but maybe even two.😊
Hes young enough to be a part of their rebuild and also isn’t good enough to win them a ton of games so might as well keep him bc you gotta sign someone
@@henrycavanagh668 he's somewhere in the end of the top 10 centers in the league so I do think he's a pretty good young player. It just seems like if you want to tear it down then tear it all down. It just seems like that.
You gotta pay somebody, he's good but not the type of player that will win you too many games, and he'll be easily tradable any year of that contract. 25 mil might seem like an absolute steal for a switching defensive center in a couple years
@@joshgiannini1804 I always forget that they have to basically pay a specific amount at the minimum which is why Houston paid so much for Dillon Brooks and Fred.
1st comment and i have nothin to say
When's your birthday?
