- In Yemen, coffee found its soul among Muslims and round 1511, coffee reached the city of Mecca. The city officials, however, believed coffee was as bad as alcohol, and issued a ban. The city of Cairo, on the other hand, welcomed coffee. Cairo became the city of coffee as a social force, especially around the universities.

It was Somali sea merchants from harar region of Ethiopia through berbera Somaliland. Research
Ethiopia is the first country to start cultivating it, then it got its way to Yemen thanks to Somalis, and Ottomans revolutionized it.

Ethiopia is the origin of coffee. It was found by Khalid; he was a young man who was herding his goats, at a place called Keffa which is located in the south western Ethiopia. That is how the name coffee came from the place of origin, i.e. Keffa.
Yes, coffee originates in the oromia state and harar region of Ethiopia but its was Somali traders that use their ports in Zeila and Berbera to sell this coffee to the ottoman empire this is how it became famous, Somalis were the middlemen, without us Ethiopia wouldn't have had access to the crucial ports needed to trade with ottoman controlled yemen

Drinking fresh Milk is Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, just make sure it is organic and from grass fed cattle.

coffee's origin is Yemen? Really? Please google it coffee came from Ethiopia in a region named Kefa and the name coffee came from. No doubt Arabs specially Yemenis spread it as they are known to be great business ppl. As the Arabs marketed it spread it to the rest of the world it known as coffee Arabica.

Imam Ahmed, I hope you meant "Giragn Ahmed". He was Ethiopian. How can someone conquer his own country? His fight was against orthodox christians who dominated the northern part of Ethiopia.

I always felt an affinity to coffee and i love it but when someone asks me drink tea i say no coz I feel tea is like a Nasha which if not taken will trouble us with headache and other side effects but coffee doesn't have any Nasha or side effects as we can keep drinking it but if we want to leave coffee we can leave it and have no side effects
