If one strategizes for their career success and works with their college advisor they will not need to do things on their own and end up in a career they do not want. Fast food jobs are amazing and many people do it but the path to working at a fast food venue is not this degree. Anyone who is reading this and is interested in general studies please know you can work in a lucrative career as long as you are smart and meet with your advisor and plan!
Pursuing an associate degree is not a bad idea as long as it leads to a career in a field that is currently in demand and won't be quickly replaced by automation. For like I have an option with my associate degree in general studies credits to qualify for the mortuary science program. Hey, that's a career I don't see automation taking over soon, and my apologies for sounding insensitive but that professional isn't going anywhere because everyone is going to pass away.
Get some basic customer service and administrative experience & a general studies AA can land you a job. When searching job boards search “associates degree” & the jobs with that requirement will populate.
Hello coach I have two associates degrees in International studies and General studies. But l don’t know what kind of jobs l will get. And l always end up in factory job. Please guide me thank you 🙏🏿

Entry level pay at some fast food jobs is 19$ - keep that in mind when you’re investing time and money into a general studies degree

I cannot find a job where having a general AA degree matters more than job experience, and where in network position doesn’t matter.😩
