Ivey is stone cold for that bluff against Benyamine's flush. One of countless examples of why Ivey is one of the best to have ever played the game.
So much better to watch these guys play then all these rich amateur business men mixed in with pro's that you see now a days on TV. Pure pro poker is just top level. Watching today is like watching half pros and half amateurs play pro sports, imagine how that would look!
If it weren't for these old videos, I would have stopped watching poker for a long time. This guys make poker very engaging and action packed. Thank you for sharing.

I like the old school players more than kids who are math geniuses
Nobody cares

Did anyone else see at 10:39 Justin has the chips arranged to say "HI" ahahahahhaha
haha i have watched this a million times and never noticed that lol
Whereee! I cannot see :/
HIgh stakes poker when it was on in the after noon for those 6 or 7 seasons was the best. I remember when the WPT TV shows were good and they actually showed hands, instead of now they show maybe 4 hands in an hour and have 20 minutes of commercials in the hour. Poker after dark was great when coming home after a late night out. A cult classic that should be run regularly. The 10k buy ins and winner take all were a bit slow and I liked the 100k or whatever cash games better. Still, at 2 am it was great to watch
Poker after dark and all the shows with the awesome players I used to watch with my grandma !! Never liked Tom dwan but Phil Ivey is goat along with Daniel 😂
This was probably 12+ years ago. Still like it better then most games today.
36:30 - Man, I LOVE seeing Ivey have a good time! He's normally so stoic…almost crabby-looking. That big smile & gut laugh…win or lose, these guys are having fun!
Ivey is done. He got hammered on those card edging lawsuits, had property confiscated... He is a big gambler and that will take you down in the long run. Ask Archie Karras.
k7 bluff was amazing
Worth analysing by someone.
"I don't think Gus can make this call". He calls. "I don't think Patrick can make this call". He calls. "I don't think Dwan can raise here". He raises
These particular commentators are very bad. And the game has changed since this was made almost 15 years ago.
There’s a reason these commentators are in the booth and not sitting at the table.
@@jasonbourneistreadstone buddy i think this was in 2009 11 years not 15..
@@brandosantana5160 Actually, this might be 2011 according to this page:
www.thetvdb.com/series/full-tilts-million-dollar-cash-game/allseasons/official
Williamson was also an omaha player. So hes an idiot in NL holdem. Also, these players were the start of the newer age of poker and these two idiot commentators had no clue what was going on lol.
Some awesome retro hands in this episode!!
best scene - 36:15 - Antonius 'I made a bad bet' - the mouth: 'well obviously', Antonius ' no I didn't realise you had so much money' - Then he sets the donkey going - Ivey laughing
There is no way that I would have folded that flush! I would have called Phil!
8:50 Flop: 933 'This is a draw-heavy board with the two hearts.' Interesting
Lol hes so bad
@@well.thy.one. - the other guy is a complete douchebag though.
Awesome stuff that you uploaded these, very interesting to see how the game changed. That lead out by Antonius on an A turn was just crazy
Phil's bluff with K7 is sick. He must've known he had the worst hand, saw the only way to steal the pot, and sized the bluff perfectly without skipping a beat flinging the chip in. Masterful.
There is a reason why most consider him one of the best if not the best player in the world.
@@awolf913who would be up there alongside him?
@@JenYangLim difficult to say, Justin Bonomo is an awesome player with excellent tournament results but all round when it comes to cash games and overall tilt control and good at tourneys, I would probably say Patrik Antonius. It’s really close though,
The table's reaction to Feldman's flat on the river with bottom full house (around 25:00) is so clueless. Flop checks through on A 6 4 rainbow. Feldman should definitely be betting his set, but decides to mix in a slow play. Turn J and Antonius bets 80% pot out of position with his open ended draw. He could have all the value hands here except AA, with bluffs like his current hand, or some broadway gutshots, mixed in occasionally. Feldman decides to raise, and this is why he really should have been betting the flop, because now this raise makes no sense. This is a spot where Feldman is forcing Antonius to play well. He'll continue with an ace or better and 75 and 53 for open enders, and fold everything worse. When the board pairs on the river, Feldman has a boat, but it's bottom boat. Antonius decides to lead out for 1/3 pot as some kind of blocker bluff(?). If Feldman raises here, what can he get called by? Antonius could have 66, A6, J6, 64, or JJ that Feldman would lose to. Antonius should never have a plain 6 after calling the turn raise. If Antonius is making a blocker bet with a hand like AJ or AT, he's never calling a raise, and he's folding all of his bluffs. Feldman can only really own himself by raising here unless Antonius would bet/call his strong aces, which I really doubt.
Feldman seemed very shook at this table. No doubt he can play online but he was the fish here. Way out of his depth and giving the rest of the table too much credit.
OG line up! Grew up watching these guys
Your millions dollars cash game, with Chris Ferguson and Howard Lederer
biggest surprise here for me is ben folding q high flush against iveys 40k bet on the river..
4th best hand possible
I saw all these guys when they were coming up. In 2002 I think it was, I watched Howard Lederer win a decent sized tournament at Foxwoods. Saw Ferguson dancing in Los Angeles believe it or not. I used to ballroom and would go West Coast Swing at several clubs around Los Angeles.
Best days of poker
2:50 that took me a moment to process xD
What did that mean?
Phil Ivey saying "God I am so Bad" louder than anything else he has ever said at the table is utterly hilarious.
Gus saying he have 28% equity with AK vs AJ 😂😂
Think they know how he plays...like mad.mike..and jamie gold....they truly are superstars
Ol Mikey hasn't paid out a side bet since 1986.
Waiting for episode 7
23 49 , tedd bundy was an underolled player one day too
I wonder if Feldman knows the whole table thinks he's a donkey 🤣🤣
Please list the dates these originally aired.. the month/yr would be appreciated
Originally aired in early 2011
I would guess 2005-2010
I love this line up💪👌
Antonius could star in the next Terminator movie
Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Viktor Blom, Doug Polk, Jason Mercier, Tom Dwan for a serious one million dollar buy in battle. Hellmuth is nice to watch too, but only when he gets sucked out on 😂
nice game , nice hand
Gus: Never underestimate Howard Lederer's sneakiness. Great forshadowing since Lederer pulled that scam in online poker and is hated by everyone now.
Hanson’s live tells are something else. Gives it all away
explain what you mean?
Just look at him when he hasn’t got it look how uncomfortable he looks he may aswell have bluff written on his head
Feldman flatting that 4s full on end lmao
Really not that bad
Raise and get called by what exactly? Antonius isn't bet/calling an Ace. He isn't bet/calling a Jack. He should have folded all of his 6x on the turn. He might bet/call AJ if he thinks Feldman is spazzing with a missed gut shot, but otherwise he's calling with J6, A6, or 64, and clicking it back for a reraise with JJ or 66. Flatting looks weird but it's the correct play.
Feldman really is one of the better players at that table.
Absolute donk omg im no pro but im raising no worries then after been laughed at says to patrick you could had A6 🙈😂😂😂😂🐴
Matusow has no business playing these stakes with these players
the look on the frenchmans face when he realized ivey bluffed him
Justin Smith looks like Vanessa Selbst.
He's slightly prettier than Vanessa.
THE DANCING DONKEY!
Ivy is soooo good!
This table: Durrrr, Ivey, Antonius, Hansen. 4 who have no problem playing as maniacs. Add in Tony G, five potential maniacs - people would pay good money to see a table like this. (Add Hellmuth for Tony to pick on, and to hear PH whine when he gets beat by true pros.) Add Daniel for his reading ability. Who would your ultimate 9-player table be?
For me :
Tom dwan, ivey, antonius, phil laak, antonio esfandiari, phil hellmuth, eli elezra, daniel negreanu, and maybe hansen for last
Ivey, Dwan, Antonious, ziigmund, Viktor blom, Gus, Vanessa selbst, Galfond, Haxton
Hellmuth beats the crap out of anyone.
What are you even talking about? Phil Hellmuth has 7 more WSOP bracelets than the next closest person, is the only person to win bracelets in three decades, won the WSOP, and has over 100 in the money placements. People really love to diminish the credentials of one of the greatest poker players of all time, and I didn’t even list half of his accomplishments.
Funny that Gus dishes it out all the time but can't take it
In the thumbnail Ivey's smiles just like a demonic entity would.
34:30 it is a tough call, phil could have A3 diamonds but so frigging what i say, even if i couldnt see the cards i,d call, i can see phil with a king but with what? A rag? Nope i call screw it.
the brother looks like a ninja turtle
Does Feldman still have his paper route. An earlier session said he started out selling papers
Half these guys turned out to be scammers, thieves all that online BS they got away with. But it was good TV at the time
Yep even ivey. He lost to the casino in his baccarat scheme. Most of the people in poker are scumbags, there are very few exceptions
@5:24 "Pair was not good..."
SMITHS All in w pair of aces was brilliant , cause the odds Hanson having 3rd 3 or 9 is less than 10% , so it wasn't a ' gamble ' is bs . And he calls w Ak .w 10%5 chance is stupid call/
2:52 what the heck is hanson wearing ?
You mean the shorty shorts?
wish bluffs worked on low stakes xD
44:35 - 👍😁
Feldman lol
These commentators keep saying what they think the player is going to do and they are always wrong 😂
yeah , they are wrong as soon as they say it... i can predict a few of these moves why cant they... always surprised by the obvious move when we can see their cards lmao
@@aaronbreeds5132 and your still living in your grandma basement with your boyfriend that you just commented on

Feldman is just so bad, calling with 4's full. LOL. He is such an absolute fish
beyamine saying he has the nut flush lol when 3+4 clubs would be nut flush
They weren't running it twice so you know its old
Where do i buy one of those donkeys!
Benyamine schooled the shit out of Feldman lol
Mikes comments are the most cringe worthy comments ever! He just embarrasses himself and thinks he’s being cool!
Mike is funny as hell. Stop being a beta soy boy. Some people like to trash talk. It's obvious you were bullied in your childhood and never got over it.
I will be peeing in my pants if Tom Dwan stares at me the way he does to opponents…
32:30 goat
Lederer only plays pocket aces
Wish could see more of Gus Hansen, though he seems to lose a ton
16:20. Before the flop, it reads that gus has 69% and dave has 31%, how are these odds figured? These players sure know, im new to poker and am trying to learn, i actually do ok just flying by the seat of my pants, i think if i could learn how to calculate these odds id do much better.
You gotta download equilab and u can calculate how much equity u have 😉
i know, all 40 of em are excited ---------------
The hand between Patrik and Gus at 10:30 is amazing. Patrik didn’t even look at Gus for a read, he only looked at the cards, chips, and table - and got that kind of read. Gus did give off a couple of tells during the hand, but Patrik didn’t visually see them. Amazing play on a wet board. And then of course Ivey's river bluff with A7...
Lol as if you think you're catching tells that Patrick Antonius missed. Lmao
W.O.W.
Nice action, however the deeper voice commentator makes it a bit hard to watch
So this is before lederer was outcasted.
10:53 Justin would’ve flopped a straight
34:00 Ivey moment
Lol how is Durrr up another 50k he hasn't played any hands
This table is so good to watch
I heard gus hansen went broke? Is that true? Where is he now?
He's an accountant now and lives in Finland I believe. I think he made a return to poker but yes he did go broke online. He lost millions due to online cheating more than likely
the donkey is funny. But Matusow was not laughing in prison, or after going broke and having to work in the family furniture store
I think I would knock that fucking donkey off of the table lol
He went to prison?
@@bettyjane6684 drugs. He got a small amount of drugs to an undercover agent. Complete BS
This is olde but it seems like it was yesterday when i watched it, ....just a minute, it WAS yesterday when i was watching.
Oooooooo david got salty over that bluff he knows ivey bluffed him that hurt only ivey could bluff in that spot sick bluff i personally would called i could not fold holding a Q flush with the K on board david aware ivey didnt make a move till fourth diamond and ivey was aware he knew this and played on it and david shut down scared that A phill never had
Ivey might be slapping the back of his own neck after that hand. 10min in!!
unbelievable, everytime Ivey raises everyone folds!!! folded Q9 flush ??? wtf.....why the hell play???
@n A no no no no no....he/she should def play
It,s just bc the damm river is a diamond, i like phil and he,s great but shit , does he have to be lucky too!?? Now i would have called because screw it if he has it he has it. But i have never seen ivey get a bad beat, or even unlucky.
the real question is, is this antonius guy Brad pitt undercover, I sure think so
Good to see David, The Mouth, Ivey, Patrik, Gus, Dwan, at the same table.
how many tens of millions of dollars bank roll would you have to have in order to justify a quarter million dollar loss?
It all comes down on who gets hot at the right time
4 diamonds on the board I bet 40K😳😳😳😳😳😳😳 #ThatsWhyHesPhilIveyAndYoureNot
All the dirty full tilt staff
They are all the most dangerous players at THE table ,but who is the most dangerous at THIS table. Can't be more than one...
Tom Dwan or Phil Ivey or maybe Gus Hansen cause he can also be like a Maniac
Golden age of characters in poker
Bunch of robots tanking forever these days
Considering Benzamyne bluffs alot ivy didn't make such a bad call
@n A lol who pisses in your cheerios all your comments are of you pissed off haha
One thing ive learned is to mix it up, sometimes i " bluff" with the nuts so that other times a healthy looking value bet gets a bluff through. If there,s $50 in the pot i might bet $275 if i have the nuts, the guy might fold and i lost value, but he might think im bluffing and i get great value, i love this crazy game.
That call with Ak? Hmm ok

Would've been better if I did have to hear Andrew "too cool" Feldman every third hand. He really went all out trying to get that nickname to stick
37:14 made me ill 🤒
How To launder 100 of Millions of Dollars!
