My head size is 56.8/56.9 cm with a finger of space in all the circumference, so a 7 1/8 or 7 1/4? Pretty stupid question cuz im just a millimeter off 7 1/8 but i wanna be sure and i wanna grow my hair way more

Every fitted hat fits slightly different. Some are more snug than others. Some loose, even in the same tag size. Just remember that you cant make it bigger w/o ruining it.. but you can shrink it by getting it damp and using heat to dry it
NEED HELP. my size is 56cm and closest size is 7 1/8 whcih is 56.8. Would it be too tight if the brim is curved? Or is it just right? What would you recommend?

You can stretch a fitted hat with a hat stretcher but have to do it carefully. Can use only the hat stretcher or you can use some steam along with the stretcher. It doesn’t take much to stretch it a little bit.
I’ve had to stretch most hats I’ve ever owned because most of the rack L/XL hats are too small for my somewhat larger head.

I think my measurement is right at 22 1/2 inches. I have 7 3/8 hat but sometimes I think I should try 7 1/4. At the lids in town they seem to never have 7 1/4 so I’m trying to figure it out by measurement bc I have to order online. I don’t like when the sides of the hat protrude out a little bit. You think 7 1/4 could be too tight at a measurement of 22 1/2?

New Era hats are hand stiched so it's common for the same size to fit differently.

From reading online, New Era sizing is all over the place anyway. You can have 5 hats all labelled the same size but they all fit different 🤷🏻♂️

Why bother if New era sizing is all over the place. Recently I ordered 5 hates online two were perfect one was to tight and two were loose fitting. Guess I have to go to the store and try them on possibly getting lice or bed bugs.
Hmm interesting, I have about 20-30 caps all the fitted ones are the same exact size, no matter the maker(!) I do have issues with snapbacks, those are all over the place. Some of my caps are 10+ years old. NewEra and Reebok are the most consistant in any regard.
Same thing happens for me with their Golfer adjustable line. 5 different ones, all 5 fit differently, and ive had 2 that wont even fit on my head. All the exact same line from new era, its ridiculous

You look absolutely ridiculous in both hats. It must be your face. And fitted caps absolutely can be stretched. I literally just stretched one so it fit a bit better. You’re able to stretch it up to about one centimeter
