The odds of catching two different fish with the same lump are very high. I have checked the markings and they were the same fish. Trout was always the first bait I cast out, then Eel segment, the third can vary from Sandeel, Smelt, Roach or Mackerel. I am taking up pike fishing again after a long absence and the first three will be Trout, Eel and Sandeel, as I have no Roach yet.

I had a lovely 18lber and lost a good fish 2nd of March on same venue fishing the 1st peg up against the left hand margin.
