We stayed @ Chateau Frontenac when my husband turned 50 back in the 90's. We didn't get a suite but a small room that when you looked out the window you saw the wall of the tower. We didn't mind - we got to say we stayed at Chateau Frontenac! And the cost $159 Canadian - converted to US it was $129 at the time. All these years later, Quebec City remains in our top among the most special places to see & experience
That is so true, Chateau Frontenac is such a special place to stay at and was the highlight of our trip to Quebec City. Even for people who aren't staying there, just walking through the lobby would be a treat. Thank you very much for watching and for commenting, we really appreciate it :)
The Fairmont Chateau Frontenac Hotel is really such a special place. Make sure you go into the lobby and have a walk around, it's definitely worth it. Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it. We hope you enjoy your time in Quebec City :)
We were lucky that the rates were drastically reduced at the Chateau Frontenac while we were there! And then, to be able to upgrade to the Presidential Suite was quite a treat that we'll always remember. Hopefully you'll get to stay there some day soon. Thank you for your kind words :)
We definitely couldn't pass up the upgrade to the Roosevelt Suite, even though we wouldn't usually spend that much. The meal that our friend treated us to, in the Champlain Restaurant was fabulous! It was such an amazing trip :)
@@TakeTimeToTravel A few years ago, 2019, we have an upgrade to the Churchill Suite for 3 nights, Halloween night, for a mistake they did...wow it was just fabulous suite that go for 3,000 per night. The service was imper cable.
We felt like we were staying in a castle for sure! It's quite breathtaking and even though it was a lot of money, we couldn't pass up the opportunity :)
WOW this is so beautifully put together, you're really good at showing off the spectacular property and your commentary is perfect! I'm blown away by the quality, amazing video
Thanks so much Curtis, we really appreciate it! The Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac was an amazing hotel, and that was definitely the nicest suite we have ever stayed in! Cheers!
Always wondered what that grand hotel looked like on the inside. The Presidential Suite looked amazing! Thanks for the tour. And nothing better than authentic Quebec poutine with real cheese curds!!!
Stepping in to that hotel is just breathtaking! Being able to stay in the Presidential Suite was such an amazing opportunity for us. The poutine here in Quebec is soooo delicious :)
Love the video, Tom taking us for a tour inside the rooms is an example of a 'casual' video I would like to see more of (speaking for myself) and maybe some Q&As, the usual UA-cam style vlog❤❤
Thank you for watching and for your suggestions. We have thought about putting ourselves in the videos more. I think we will need to get a better microphone that won't pick up wind noise and other sounds outside. Hopefully, we can get that soon and start vlogging more. Thanks again :)
Its a pleasure, the reason I'm suggesting this is - there was another UA-camr who asked the subscribers the kind of videos they'd like to see, and many said 'casual' home style vlogs because apparently that makes us viewers 'relate' more with you guys on screen, it's more like a psychological thing hopefully you get my point. Anyway thanks again👍🙏❤❤❤
We just stayed there for 8 days. Wouldn't have stayed anywhere else traveling from Oklahoma and Virginia. Weather was a little warm (1st week of August) but the wind was very strong. Lovely Hotel, lovely city, have a very nice time.
We loved Quebec City, and the Chateau Frontenac was amazing! We were so lucky to be able to upgrade to the Presidential Suite, which was so beautiful. The hotel is such a landmark in Quebec City, and even though it can be expensive, it's definitely worth staying there. Thanks so much for watching :)
What a beautiful hotel and surrounding area! $600 is more than we have spent for a month's lodging in the Balkans this year, but you did get a good deal and seems like you had an amazing time!
The hotel is beautiful and is one that I've always wanted to stay at. I can check that one off the list now lol. It's a holiday that we'll never forget!
The Queen Elizabeth in Montreal has more luxurious rooms, but the Chateau Frontenac has the most amazing view and lobby. Both hotels have gastronomy tables and even more high-end restaurants nearby.
Thanks for watching, we really appreciate it! There was a special promotion at the height of the lockdown last year that we took advantage of. We are also Accor members which can help with upgrades. I think Fairmont has a special deal right now at some hotels, buy two nights get one free. We always ask for additional upgrades when we're checking in, which sometimes works. Hope this helps :)
The hotel was amazing and we were lucky to get the upgrade to the Presidential Suite. We are living in Montreal now for 6 months, and then hope to travel to Vietnam for the winter (fingers crossed).
Yes the first hotel room was very nice as well! I think the next hotel we're staying at is in Toronto, at the end of next month. You and the family can come by and check it out if you want!

Planned to stay there at the end of November. Will it be extremely cold at this time? Appreciate your input
I think it could be around freezing at that time of year, but maybe google climate for that area. We haven't been there at that time of year.
The Queen Elizabeth in Montreal has more luxurious rooms, but the Chateau Frontenac has the most amazing view and lobby. Both hotels have gastronomy tables and even more high-end restaurants nearby.
The Chateau Frontenac is such an impressive looking building and the architecture is magnificent.
Love your video. You guys have amazing energy. Can I ask how / where you got the bogo? Is there a loyalty program you’d suggest? Thank you 🇨🇦

Tabernac what a beautiful hotel. What a lucky upgrade. Did you say you moved to there? Or are just visiting?
The hotel was amazing and we were lucky to get the upgrade to the Presidential Suite. We are living in Montreal now for 6 months, and then hope to travel to Vietnam for the winter (fingers crossed).
A fantastic tour! Wow $600 a night! Certainly on the high end even with the insane discount! But such an amazing experience. When did this take place?
It was expensive but, a really memorable experience. We were in Quebec City about a week ago.
