    It's time for another no-heat curls tutorial! Today, we're happy to take part in Suave Professionals’ “Style It Yourself” program by teaching you how to get salon-quality curls at home using no heat! As a result, this tutorial will appear on Pinterest.com/SuaveBeauty!
    This method is perfect if you are off to the gym in the morning, or running errands during the day, but have an event that you need to attend later that night. Two looks in one, which gives you a tight hairstyle for when you're active, and beautiful curls later on. I also use this method for overnight curls.
    To see your own photo recreations of this style featured in our app, feel free to tag your photos on IG with: #CGHBoxerBraidCurls & #StyleItYourself
    To get the look, all you need is damp hair, curl-defining serum gel, and Boxer Braids. The product helps condition my hair as a serum would, and also help define the curls like a gel would, but doesn't leave the hair feeling "crunchy" or stiff when I am done.
    The Boxer Braid No-Heat Curls form in 3 Easy Steps:
    1. Begin with damp hair, and add in the curl defining serum gel.
    2. Create Boxer Braids {Double French Braids into a single braid} and allow to dry.
    3. Remove the braids, finger comb the curls, and set your part line.
    What I really love is that you can use these curls as a base for any number of hairstyle combinations {updos, buns, twists, French braids, Dutch braids, fishtail braids, pancake braids, accent braids, side braids, etc}.
    Please don’t forget to give this video a huge “Thumbs Up”, and leave a comment below if you would like to see more curly hair tutorials!
    💋's -Mindy
    Items Needed: Rat-tail comb, spray bottle, 1 hair elastic, Suave Professionals Luxe Style Infusion Curl Defining Gel Serum, hairspray {optional}, silk scarf {optional to cover the hair if sleeping the the braids overnight}.
    Time Requirement: 7-10 minutes
    Skill Level: Easy

    My hair always turns out frizzy when I do no heat curls...I have tried spray gel. Will the serum help?

    • @LindsayMeadDailyVlog
      @LindsayMeadDailyVlog 8 років тому +1

      +Amy White I'd recommend trying an oil. Argan Oil, Coconut Oil, or Rosehip Oil are good for frizzy dry hair. They can be pricey, but a little goes a long way. Especially with Coconut Oil; only the size of a dime is needed. If you over use the Coconut Oil, it can make your hair feel greasy.

    • @CuteGirlsHairstyles
      @CuteGirlsHairstyles  9 років тому +17

      Just use your fingers to separate the hair and hide the V shape. You can also take a comb and lightly tease a few areas so the hair stays in place over the part line.

      My hair is very long. It's about 3 feet long and it goes down a little past my waist. I french braid my hair all the time to get it out of my face. Whenever I first learned how to french braid my own hair it was very tiring for my arms to be up for that long. It always took me around 5 minutes to braid all of my hair. I practiced a lot and I finally got really good at braiding fast. It helps a lot so just keeps practicing and you'll either get used to it or learn how to braid faster.

    Love this braid! I had my doubts on how it would look afterwards on me but it gives my second day hair such volume! Well done.

    ITS CORNROWS!!

    • @jessicaritter9940
      @jessicaritter9940 8 років тому +1

      No they aren't. Look up cornrows. There's a huge difference. Cornrows are multiple small braids. Mindy shows two larger braids

    • @jessicaritter9940

      You're* that's the worst time to use poor grammar 😂 Educate yourself before trying to argue. And just educate yourself in general please. Just reading your comment makes me want to poke my eyes out because you can't use the right grammar for shit. Cornrows are multiple small braids. And these can be called boxer braids or are called French braids. And race has nothing to do with it. Wtf?

      Druscilla Daley No lol I just saw them and decided to respond. If you're wrong, you get backlash. It's not my fault that some people, obviously me being one of them, can't stand when people are ignorant and leave hate on something that is incorrect 😊

    They are called cornrows, not no damn "boxer braids" or Kim Kardashian braids . Learn the name

    • @jessicaritter9940
      @jessicaritter9940 8 років тому +14

      How about you learn the name instead. There's a big difference between cornrows and boxer braids. Cornrows are multiple small braids. Boxer braids, as seen in the video, are larger braids. Look it up

    Love this style! For quite a while, I've been doing two French braids and sleeping on them and then wearing them to school the next day, and taking them out the day after that, winding up with beautiful curls! I love all of the videos you post, and can't wait to see what videos will be next! Your channel is so creative and inspirational! I really, really hope I can meet you guys sometime!
