And I was super nice this year due to Covid and kids with tech issues and shitty parents, no points off for late work.
Just wanna point out artificers can be simultaneously built for both high ac and good saving throws. Using flash of genius they can add their intelligence modifier to their saving throws, they will eventually gain a bonus to their saving throws equal to the number of magical items they are attuned to, and can craft two magical items which give them a +1 bonus to saves each.
I have a completely pointless power build. Maxed out speed involving dashes, essentially you can move like really fast on your turn so you can just run away like really far and fast, and best part about it, you can fly. If asked I will edit post to have it to. Now for the part everyone hates, the reason behind it. Basically my character want to go to space but was told they couldn’t breath so they thought, “huh, what if I just went to the moon really fast I can just breath there”
It's super telling how those power builds require broken rolled statblocks to be at least viable and even then they pale in comparison to actually optimised stuff
Thanks, I'm proud of my boy. The damage can be more if DM allows GGR backgrounds for Rakdos Cultist (which is thematic) and now you have haste active instead of hunter's mark. This would make the damage go beyond 160
Okay, I have built the long range character before, and it's pretty good when you realize that most things can't see 1200 ft away, much less 600 ft. That would mean you're attacking them effectively from invisibility (you are imperceptible, especially at night). Most times it needs eyes of the eagle so you can get over your own sight limitations, but some might get past that by seeing through a familiar and shooting with a quickened spell in exchange for half that staggering number, though that is sort of arguable (generally targeting something requires you to see it and for it to be in range, a common exploit with find familiar and misty step getting you through walls). Best I see it, it's supposed to be a mobile build that gets advantage on ranged attacks, most of which you could do by playing a Kobold and picking up pact of the chain warlock. Not that it's bad, it's just a bit of work for something easily attained at level 3.
I agree with Offbeat outlaw on the high range spell concepts The mayority of combat scenarios in DnD usually happen in darkness. The mayority of races that even has access to darkvision has 60 feet vision. So if your ranged 60 feet is basicly all you need. You need to be able to have vision of your target if you wanna hit your target xD (or at the very least know its general location via sound
Stumbled into you and a couple other newer dnd channels, and I just want to say, I love what you're doing, and I'm glad to be subscribed to you. Keep it up!
Me: Sitting here hoping to learn some crazy builds if I ever get past level 4. All the posts: You just gotta get crazy items that it’s not even guaranteed will be in your campaign.
Additionally another problem with adding items to power gaming builds is that hinges on your character getting that item, your DM could very easily recognize an attempt at powergaming and choose not to give you those items.
So the link to "Omniscient Reader"(a popular korean web comic), is just RP for what their campaign is based on. The build itself is.... not a powerbuild. Funny thing the first build is level 5 and can be built for a level 15 wizard which is insane or a level 16 fighter or sorcerer or level 19 artifice so you have a 31 armour class on a fairly high damage output character
I have a build See just about everything and kill it from range. I'll use standard array as I'm at work. 15 dex 14 constitution, 13 wisdom, 12 charisma, 10 intelligence, 8 in strength for your starting stats. We'll take aaracokra for our race (until the owl folk becomes legal when it is take that for the starting 90 dark vision) we're going 5 levels ranger gloom stalker, 2 levels Twilight Cleric, 2 levels fighter, and the remaining 11 levels in rogue assassin. So expertise in stealth is the most important thing. Twilight Cleric and Gloom stalker will give us dark vision out to 360ft. We'll pick up the sharpshooter, and Eldritch adept feats and take devil sight from this. With the combined features we can now see in magical darkness from up to 360ft away, fly with 50 movement speed, almost guaranteed stealth between the gloomstalker and the expertise in stealth being considered invisible while in darkness. With sharpshooter and the assassin's assassinate feature you're almost always guaranteed to be able to pull off surprise getting that extra damage. I know it's nothing crazy, but it's great at what it does. I'll show you finished stats in a bit. 20 dex 16 wisdom, 13 constitution the other 3 stats do not change. So the idea is sneak, see far away, have advantage from them being unaware, two attacks one being a sneak assassinate attack, action surge hold action to shoot again on the next characters turn boom another sneak attack as you can only sneak attack once per turn well it's not your turn the second time.

After my dm gave up I told him now you will never kill me,
He asked why
I explained, my character would have been sucked into the explosion, and at the very least the immortal wizard and dragon that were in there, hated me, and given the dragon was frozen the fire would have melted it, but also immune to fire spells
According to everyone that was playing, what was left after that was a black hole,
Congrats, you win at make-believe
Isn't the build with three lots of Resilient impossible?
I thought you can only take a feat multiple times if it explicitly states it.
Have the moderators delete any messages from that channel that breaks the rules XD
I hope my build gets in the next video (it is a grapple build)
Are infusion of duplicating magic items allowed?
Would the rules count with items if you’re an artificer and (Infuse/make them)?
I doubt it: that counts as a class feature for artificers. It’s the same thing as an infusion.
Question if you are an artificer can you count your infusions
Please do this on Treantmonk's discord in the next episode
Of course I submit the 2nd skill monkey so he doesn’t review it yet it is MUCH better than the other ones shown
Oof
A skill monkey is boring. Unless it's like the 60 persuasion build.
Skill monkeys are usually split between rogues/paladins/bards. Just MAD characters in general with expertise all over.
I'm worried on how he will roast mine.
Maybe i should go and put my build in for a vewing the damn thing keeps suprising me
I just want a subclass that adds Charisma to AC so I can do a character that only relies on mental stats.
Bladesinger adds their Int to AC during bladesong.
@@Cheerwine091 I know. Monks get Wisdom, all that's left is Charisma, which you can get with a Dragon Mask from Dragon campaign (forgot name currently). Just wanna be able to do that with class features instead of relying on a random magic item.
@@Yusei1Fudo considering CHA is a strong stat nowadays with one of the most bonker SAD builds, its probably gonna be awhile.
@@lordvectra7821 SAD?
@@lordvectra7821 But, if they ever make a Dragon Patron, it might be a mid tier subclass improvement? Like 6th or 10th, maybe even part of a 14th with a little extra.
How many people have heard of the illusionist's bracers cuz I haven't seen any build with them
I love using them on Bladesingers and the like since you can get three attacks per turn with it using Booming Blade or Green-Flame Blade
Well, one of the rules says that you cant use magic items
Offbeat I as a loyal fan wish i could support your patrons but I’m but a mear child using my big boy words so I can’t support you but I hope you don’t feel guilty for taking a break I know some creatures get put on a pedestal and feel like they need to push out content and need to make it good with will break any human so if you need a break then please take a break and then push out content and for the fireball
I appreciate your support homie 😎
Nice you ended 2 days before my submission meaning I still have a shot
First ones race and class is my exact character
How
infusions are still allowed right?
When I see my build but he skips over it.😭 XD
F
No I won't get out your house cause I live here now.
