Always excited to see a Strompest upload!! I am curious, why the luden's after seraphs? I've always avoided new Luden's on Ryze since his waveclear is so solid already, is that a good 2nd item in general or was there a match-specific reason you built it 2nd this game?
I love your videos dude. Would you be able to make a video about different Ryze build paths / Runes? I tend to take phase rush and build rabadons 3rd item into squishier comps, and conqueror and frozen heart build into more tanks. I'd love to know your thought process on build / rune variation depending on what you're up against.
Out of curiosity, how come you opted for Archangel's over RoA? I would have thought RoA as a first item would allow you to scale really nicely into the late game.

I've been trying out Comet on Ryze. If you poke with W every time comet is up, it's a guaranteed hit for good damage. It's not as good late game but it feels great early, allowing me to scale more quickly. Any thoughts about it?
@@StrompestOkay hear me out... Grasp, Demolish, Conditioning, Overgrowth, Manaflow, Gathering; RoA > Fimbulwinter > Riftmaker > Deathcap > Ludens 😂 Infinite scaling HP, Mana, and AP. It's troll I know but I love it.
@@Strompest I tried it compared to ROD but I dont like it if you do 1 mistake with your positioning you pretty much die he is way to squishy unless you change your secondary runes to get some defences
I higher elos small diferences matter. While in low elos you need bigger diferences to carry. So rabadons in low with void staff IF SOMEONE EVEN BUILDS MR... And the healing magic pen on high elo. @strompest

my team has full knowledge... no they don't. you barely pinged your OWN laner roaming. on a match up where lb wants to roam all the time and that is her win condition. your team members are saints for not pinging you
@@REIwAlexY My guy there's no way you're saying they didn't have full knowledge at 9 minutes when they had literally been pinging it themselves the entire game. Legitimately Viego was in their red side since the game started, and it was getting pinged every 10 seconds. Did you watch the video?
@@austingriner8179 because it's YOUR job to track YOUR laner. Simple as that. Look at any high challenger gameplay. Midlaners will always ping. If you don't, you are RELYING on your team to notice that. If you want to do, go ahead. I want to give my team as few chances to fuck up as possible. And esp on a late game farm heavy champ like ryze where you mostly just farm, you esp have no excuse not to track a roamer

archangel = stronger faster at the cost of durability, but more dmg with this build

Not a good item, fights are short, stats are bad, too expensive for its stats

i don't understand, why don't you play roa ? losing 300 gold and 600 health for 5 ap and 25 cdr seems pretty bad imo
That is theory, the ap comes in during a span of 10 minutes. This build spikes way earlier and does more dmg at the cost of durability.
